The owner, Diane, is an exceptional host - she gives great information on arrival, provides lots of little extra features ( like a lounge and a small shared kitchen that you can use and makes a delicious breakfast each day with fresh eggs from her chickens.

Water pressure of the shower was ok but could have been a little stronger, albeit it's done to save water.

Perfect location for visiting Bayeaux and the Normandy landing sites; 5 min walk from the cathedral and historic downtown areas of Bayeux. 10 min walk to the D-Day museum. An easy drive to all the major D-Day sites. Easy parking. Breakfast was lovely with coffee, yogurt, croissants, and fresh eggs from the chickens on site! A lovely garden courtyard as well in this hidden gem in Bayeaux. Highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again. Diane is a wonderful host and also gave us some really good travel tips for visiting the D-Day sites as well as Le Mont St Michel.

The owner Diane couldn’t be any nicer. The family was lovely, her niece Sophie was adorable. Loved the dogs and other animals on the property. We had a great visit. Diane earned an exceptional rating from us on the first day when she threw our 50 lb suit cases over her shoulder and lugged them up three flights of stairs for us. Incredible service.

The location is outstanding! VERY close to the heart of old Bayeux. It was an easy and enjoyable walk to all the restaurants and shops. The property is magical: relaxing, friendly and peaceful garden setting. Our host was so helpful, welcoming and service oriented. A beautiful respite from the outside world. The beautiful garden, house pets and chicken coop made the property feel like home. The breakfasts were outstanding!! Fresh, fresh, fresh bread, bakery and typical French breakfast fare. Delicious!

Hostess was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations about the area. Breakfast was full of delicious and amazing choices; we left well fueled for a busy day. The interior courtyard/garden was delightful and peaceful/relaxing. Fantastic stay!

The breakfast was very nice and the host was present and pleasant.

Rooms could use a lot of TLC. Lacked storage and technology access. All easily fixed if resources are available. Bathrooms were functional- but very low quality.

Le petit déjeuner était copieux, varié , excellent. Grandes tablées super sympa. Diane est une excellente hôtesse. Attentionnée et enthousiaste ! Le cadre extérieur est magnifique et très agréable.
