The Palms Hotel

Location was perfect. Staff extremely helpful. Quaint and comfortable. Coffee in the room was very good. Good sized mini refrigerator.

Parking is so limited. No microwave.

Beautiful historic hotel with so much Key West character, situated close to everything. Bed (in both rooms) was very comfortable and the room was impeccably clean. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast by the pool was plentiful and a nice setting. Cold cereal, fresh fruit & juice, pastries, bagels, eggs, sausage, yogurt, coffee, tea. We had an electrical issue in our room in the middle of the night. Called the after hours number and the very kind lady upgraded us to a Honeymoon King room at no additional charge.

It’s an old building so weird things are to be expected. Our 1st room had a gap under the door and we could see the porch floor outside. That means hot air also passed through. Our 2nd room had a little plumbing issue and the bathroom sign advised to flush nothing (not even toilet paper). Interesting… Parking is nuts in Key West. The hotel has 4 spaces in front & 4 in back. We were only able to snag one of those once. Had to search for spaces on surrounding streets, usually found something within a block. We walked to Mallory Square and some sights a few times. If you can walk or ride a bike. park your car & leave it.

Indra y un compañero nuevo cuyo nombre no recuerdo, nos arruinaron la estadía con su falta de profesionalismo, faltas de respeto y pésimo servicio al cliente. Reconozco que el resto del personal intentó mejorar la experiencia y fueron muy amables, pero ya era demasiado tarde. Es la primera vez en mi vida que vivo una situación tan agresiva y desagradable en un hotel. No lo recomiendo y no volvería. La habitación era linda, pero muy pequeña. Además, la puerta corrediza del baño solo sirve para tapar, ya que no cierra correctamente. En la práctica, era como ir al baño con la puerta abierta, algo que me resultó muy incómodo.

The location was good.

Incredibly expensive for mediocre facilities. Room was cramped. Flights landing at the airport practically scrapded the roof. Beakfast is pathetic.

The hotel location is perfect for taking a stroll around town. After parking near the hotel, we did not need to use our car until we checked out and were leaving town! The hotel staff is very friendly and the room was very comfortable!
