Catalonia Las Cortes Hotel

Checked in was very slow. There was a group of 5 people ahead of us and at 6pm it took the hotel almost 15-20 minutes to complete our check in process. There was only one person at the reception handling check in though there were other staffs walking around but showed absolutely no intend to help. A little while later there were a couple of them just sitting behind the counter chatting. Tried again asking for tv channel information during the EUFA cup and again the front desk basically just asked us to search the channels ourselves.

I thought the front desk could have been a little more hospitable.

Nice ambience..easy stroll to good restaurants and sights of the city

The staff were excellent, the room was very comfortable and clean. The location was great with lots of choices for eating and walkable to so many places

we have stayed here 4 times, all good experiences. Great location convenient walking to all areas of interest for most travelers. Rooms are very well appointed, attractive, comfortable, and the staff is always a pleasure. Breakfast is great also.

Very good personal

Had a superior room. It was very spacious and nice. Very clean. Wasn’t the most quiet of hotels but it is downtown Madrid after all.

After an overnight flight, we arrived very early to the hotel but since our room was ready, they let us go right in which saved our whole entire trip. We were able to sleep and enjoy the day and I can’t stress enough how wonderful this was. The staff were friendly and attentive. The shower was literally the best I’ve had in my 40 years of traveling.
