The bed was comfortable

The stairs were a nightmare as I suffer from fibromyalgia and can't manage stairs. The carpets on the stairs were coming away from the stair. The shower floor was dirty and we had to go to the owner in another hotel to say we had no WiFi, the bedroom main light wasn't working and no remote for the TV.

Good location, price.

No lobby, no front desk clerk or services.

Affordable accommodation in the very centre of the city.

The accommodation could benefit from renovation, for example the walls of the room could at least be painted. It looks a bit shabby.

Location is excellent

Shower head wouldn’t sta fixed

They warn you that there are a lot of stairs and that they are pretty steep, they mean it. Brilliant location, very central. We expected to hear a lot more noise than we did considering we were in the middle of town, but we hardly heard anything. The staff in the Gyros shop checked us and they were very friendly and it was super quick. We had to go to the main hotel to get the discount for the carpark, it halved our parking. Very worth it. The lady who served us on reception was also very helpful and friendly. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Not huge but big enough for both of us. Incredible value for money and we will definitely be staying again if we come back to Cardiff.

We were warned about the stairs, but I don't think we truly prepared ourselves for the stairs. We were very high up and I had to take a rest in the middle of taking our bags upstairs because I am unfit.
