Eine absolut tolle Lage vor den Toren von Rom. Der Gastgeber Mauritio ist eine Seele von Mensch. So etwas haben wir in all unseren Italien Reisen an Herzlichkeit noch nie erlebt. Er ist stets bemüht seine Gäste mit Tipps sowohl für Ausflüge als auch für Gastronomie zu versorgen. Der Blick von unserem Balkon aus über Rom war unbezahlbar.

Das Badezimmer passt nicht mehr ganz in die Zeit, konnte aber den Gesamteindruck nicht drüben.

Everything was perfect

Al llegar te encuentras con una bella casa con jardines de ensueño. Mauricio nos recibió y nos explicó todo sobre la zona, los mejores lugares para visitar, comer etc, todo con mucha amabilidad y dedicación. Un lugar no sólo de paso, ya que está cerca si vas en coche del aeropuerto de roma y de Castel Gandolfo, si no también para disfrutar de la piscina y la naturaleza.

Tucked away in the heart of Italy, this charming family-run hotel with its warm, timeless atmosphere and personal touch in every detail. Maurizio made us feel extremely welcome and provided us with detailed maps and information about the area. The stunning views from our terrace were truly unforgettable and made our stay both relaxing and memorable. A true gem for those seeking authenticity and tranquility.

This property is heaven on earth - beautiful, comfortable, relaxing - and above all, the general manager (& owner) Mauricio is one of the nicest, most helpful humans we have ever encountered. We could see Rome from our balcony. The hotel grounds were bursting with flowers. Breakfast was wonderful!

Le site, la vue, la proximité de Rome en train, la possibilité de rayonner tant vers Tivoli que vers Ostia Antica. Et bien sûr l accueil attentionné et les bons conseils de Maurizio.

Salle de bains un peu vieillotte, buffet petit-déjeuner pourrait être plus garni.

The property is well located for travel into Rome for people who are fit and healthy as there is long walk from the trains at Rome Termini to the Metro. Traffic from Grotto Ferrata to Frascati can be heavy so you need to leave plenty of time to get there. Trains run once an hour. The property itself has beautiful grounds and swimming pool but the interior itself is tired and outdated. It is a little sad and probably could do with a major update and refurbishment. Maurizio is absolutely charming and cannot do enough to assist with information about local places to visit sight seeing etc. We found the bed pillows etc too soft and would have liked a firmer mattress and better quality sheet. However Rome accommodation during the Conclave was extremely expensive and this was similarly priced to most other 4 star accommodation. Breakfast is adequate but there's no lounge bar or restaurant on site so you will need to go out for dinner every night.

Everything was fine apart from the points mentioned above. The property exterior and grounds is beautiful.

The villa and the views were amazing!!! It was so relaxing to have a glass of wine on the terrace and watch the sunset. The breakfast was so delicios! Maurizio is a super host! He gave us the best recommendations for the restaurants and places to visit in the area.
