This hotel is in a prime location. My rating is based on my room location. I was in room 1, which was next to the entrance. The noise from the entrance and the surrounding alleyways was very evident. And there was a constant whirring noise coming from a corner of the room. I used brown noise while sleeping to camouflage the sounds. Breakfast was not included in my rate. However on the last morning I opted to pay for breakfast prior to an early morning pickup. It was 20 Euros. Given the price of tapas and other meals around the area, this breakfast was extremely high. Other than the noise issue, the room was fine and the lounge area was lovely. I did try to order food late afternoon and was unable to figure out how to make that happen and gave up. So nice but not perfect.

The Hotel Casa 1800 Granada was a welcome oasis, perfectly situated in a quiet corner away from the hussle and bussle of the large city of Granada and its many visitors but only a few minutes walk from the city centre. The staff were welcoming and could not have been more helpful. The building was old with tasteful period decor and a covered courtyard where you could rest, have snacks, drinks and enjoy their superb breakfast and excellent afternoon tea. The rooms were small but well appointed and extremely comfortable. The quality of bedlinen was noted! We would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to a return visit ourselves.

Casa 1800 is charming and well located in the old center of Granada. We loved our comfortable room and appreciated the afternoon tea offered to guests. We were able to walk to the Alhambra and the other sites we had planned to visit. Parking is not available because of the location, but parking at a lot recommended by the hotel about 5-10 minutes away by taxi worked out well.

The hotel is an amazing find and we will definitely return. The rooms are lovely and well designed, beautifully clean and with great coffee. The breakfast was delicious and the merienda was wonderful - icing on the cake, excuse the pun. The hotel staff were great - very helpful and friendly.
