Hotel Mäuerle

Comfortable room, good breakfast, nice staff, location is great, rooms facing the main street get a little road noise at night. Nothing fancy, but a nice place to stay at a reasonable price in desirable Lindau Island (Inseln).

If you need a bed and breakfast without a lot of frills this is place is great. Has a good location. close to city center and harbor. Parking is nearby in a paid lot which is a short walk to the hotel. The accommodations were simple but very clean.

The hotel is nicely located on the actual Lindau island. Breakfast and staff is ok. But... we were put into a basement room with two tiny windows that were at the same height as the outside pavement and barely let any light in. The whole room was tiled and there was a drain in the floor. It clearly was some kind of washing facility before it was converted into a room by simply placing some beds in there. Not at all what I expect from a decently priced hotel!

Great location! My only complaint was that my receipt from hotels.com stated that we would be billed at checkout, however when we went to checkout, they had already submitted the bill to the credit card and we had wanted to pay cash.

It was great to find a hotel with complimentary parking. We stayed just overnight on the way to Swiss and this was really nice stop with the possibility to walk around the island. Hotel is small, nice, pension-style. Breakfast was also satisfactory.

Hotel was very nice and breakfast was really good. I would not recommend this hotel for people who have problems with stairs as there is no elevator. Otherwise nice stay.

Hotel very relaxed & we were made very welcome. Bed room clean & functional, but very small. Very easy to walk from there around the island with views across the lake & lots of restaurants. Good for a short stay.
