Sky Sleeping

The view from our room was simply incredible. And, the hotel is right up the street from very good dining. It is right on a fairly busy street, but noise was not an issue. The lift is small, I think 2 people and their luggage is about its max.

We stayed at Sky Sleeping end of September and I can only recommend this B&B to everybody who visit Palermo. The room is rather small but very stylish. Also very clean. Breakfast is served on the "roof" with a fantastic view - perfect start of the day. Location is also good - close to all main sightseeng of the city. It was just a bit tricky to find the hotel - it's a private mini-hotel in a normal building with other appartments.

It really needs renovation. Our bathroom had stains on the ceiling, ''hydromassage shower'' wasn't working at all, jus few drops came out of those massage nozzles. Then there is no Flat-tv screen like owner promises. The owner doesn't give you a feeling that he is happy to have you there. It 's more about the money. Outside terrace could be much nicer. For breakfast you don't have any bread, cheese, or salami. Just cereals, some fruit, jem and butter. Our room had common balcony with 4 other rooms. Which gives you no privacy at all. There is no free parking, because there are so many cars. So you have to pay for each day 10EUR. In the room is extremly hot, and the airconditioning doesn't work properly.

If you're looking for a low-cost and relatively central place to stay in Palermo...this is it. Nothing fancy about the place, but it's clean and the staff is helpful in answering the myriad of questions about what to see, where to eat, etc. Set on the 8th story of an apartment building in Palermo...there are great views from the dining and terrace. It's also well kept, though it is a no-frills kind of place. Don't expect a luxurious breakfast, that too is bare-boned. Would stay again though...now knowing what to expect.

I visited Sky Sleeping whilst in visiting in September 2011 not in 2012. Massimo, the owner of the place was very helpful. You get bed and breakfast and even though you are like on the top floor the view you get from the terrace is amazing. Not too far away from the train station but public transport is situated not far away.

I arrived 1 hour before i have said, and i had to wait until they came to open the door, so i had to wait 20 minutes in the stairs!. it was clean hotel but it had a weird smell i didnt like........ the owner is nice

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and well-kept and the breakfast was lovely sitting out on the balcony. Top hotel.

Sky Sleeping has the creature comforts and space of home, is within walking distance of every important attraction in Palermo, has fresh food markets at your doorstep and incredible views of the sea, mountains and city buildings. Massimo is a most friendly and welcoming host and is always happy to answer any queries you may have or ensure your room is ok. Breakfast is of a huge variety - cereal, breads, bıscuıts, baked goods accompanied by coffee, tea and juice - and ıf your lucky, can be enjoyed in the sunshine on the adjacent balcony. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms very clean and spacious and the facilities modern. I would return to Sky Sleeping in a heartbeat.

I enjoyed staying with Massimo´s sky sleeping: I enjoyed Massimos way of communicating with his guests, the terrace on the roof and WLAN-opportunity.

Nice, clean, design rooms. New furniture. Convenient beds on which it is possible to sleep till the morning. The owner of hotel Massimo is always ready to help and is very kind. A good site to consider a city. The best that can be found for such price. Near the street of shops with fashionable clothes and supermarkets. The big problem to find a restaurant or cafe where it is possible to feed the child with just prepared meal except a pizza ( I mean the 100 metres distance from the hotel).
