Hostal La Casona

UM BOM LUGAR PARA SE ACLIMATAR, FAZER O PASSEIO AS MINAS E PROSSEGUIR SEM MAIORES PROBLEMAS.

Em dezembro de 2013, o hostel La Casona em Potosi ainda estava em obras. Muitos entulhos no pátio e muita poeira acumulada, inclusive no quarto. O banheiro ainda não estava terminado, com fios elétricos pendurados e muita poeira. O atendimento deixa a desejar. É mais um lugar para mochileiros. Wi-Fi somente na recepção. Boa localização, bem próximo da praça principal. Se você não se importa com essas condições, pode considerar ficar nesse lugar.

Réception très sympathique et chambre propre dans un cadre qui sort des sentiers battus....et tout celà à deux pas de la Plaza.

We paid way too much for a single room with NO towels, NO toilet paper, a wall CAKED in mold, NO toilet seat, and smelled of dried dead fish. The owner accused me of being a liar when I told him I didn't receive the confirmation for the tour booking through the hotel. He then argued with me about who owned Hotels.com. It was a miserable experience.

Bonne auberge. C'est un peu cher mais bien entretenu, propre avec de l'eau chaude. Une mention spéciale pr les draps en polaire!

Ist für eine Nacht OK, leider muss man zwei bezahlen. Das Frühstück ist sehr überschaubar, deswegen Preis-Leistung nicht wirklich i.O. Es wird bessere Alternativen in Potosi geben, die aber scherer zu finden sind.

very old hotel 1792, 4 light sockets in room and 1 bulb, when asked for 2 bulbs for bedside reading, apparently not available. breakfast was 2 stale bread rolls small square of jam and butter, and passable coffee. laundry service was quick and cheap $7 for 4.5kg, and yes they weigh the bag of clothes with a small mechanical fish scale. there is a truly great restaurant next corner down and left half a block. the location is great and atmosphere colonial, heating supplied 730pm to 730am with column heater. The staff are friendly and helpful, but strict in rules, similar to Singapore experience. I am glad though that we had a room with bathroom off the main square, as twin room at back without was pokey and dismal, and there were dormitories as well.

Despues de una muy buena experiencia, encontrando un hotel en Sucre, encontre La Casona en Potosí. A diferencia de mi anterior experiencia, este lugar es mas rústico, menos dedicado al detalle y sin duda alguna una buena opción para quien lleva una mochila al hombro y no quiere gastar mucho. Lamentablemento yo estaba con dos niños y dos personas de la tercera edad y las comodidades que se insinuaron en el sitio web (este) no estaban allí. Asi que a fijarse en los detalles.
