Hotel Bragança

We were only staying in Coimbra for the one night, so the hotel's location was what appealed. Straight across the road from the railway station makes it very convenient for this kind of stop. From here it's a short walk to the main pedestrian walkways and up the hill to the university. It is an older hotel but I didn't find this to be a problem for a short stay. Hotel staff were efficient, if not enthusiastic, but again, this didn't worry me as much as it seems to have upset other reviewers. The room was small (I had a single) and a TV that was definitely from another decade, if not century but this wasn't an issue. Breakfast was good - there was a decent array of food to choose from and the dining room was pleasant.

At first, the impression is not great. It is quite an old building with no spacious lobby. However, once you enter the room you are happy with the cleaniness of bathroom and towels, the high speed WIFI but most importantly with the location. Right next to the train station A and not very far away from the train station B. Almost at the heart of Coimbra you can walk easily to the most interesting spots. Probably the breakfast could be improved, as it offers the basics.

2人部屋＋エキストラベッドをリクエストしていたのだが、2部屋ある部屋を用意して頂き、とても広く使用することができた。 シャワー等全く申し分なく、朝食が7時半からと少し遅めなのが気になる位。ただ7時20分には朝食会場は開いていた。 Wi-fiはロビー等共用スペースのみだが、ストレスを感じない位の速度で良かった。

기차역 바로 옆에 있어서 교통이 편리했고요 관광지도 거의 호텔에서 걸어서 갈 수 있는 거리에 있어서 좋았습니다. 객실도 무난했습니다.

Braganca is an old world Hotel, as soon as you step in it takes you back to the 70's. The staff at the Hotel seem like they are from the 70's too. The Hotel is clean and well maintained, the rooms very spacious (mine was a family room). Also, they serve a good breakfast in large dining room. The location is excellent for exploring the old part of town and is located right next to the train station. The only disadvantage is the lack of parking space, I'd suggest parking at one of the nearby covered parking lots.

The location is good. The noise level is pretty quiet...but the place is dated and needs a reno. Great shower though!

Rooms are very old (shabby). Please do not get cheated with rooms shown on the website. Patches coming out of the room walls, sliding windows does not close/open properly. Bad and untidy door curtains. Bathroom door does not slide properly. Front desk customer service agents do not know ABC of customer service. Ignorant , arrogant and understaffed. I have read the same review of customers complaining about staff but still book the hotel looking at 3 star badge for this hotel but I have to agree I should have listened to the poor reviews about the hotel. I wont make any recommendation to book this hotel to anyone. All in all a worst service received from this hotel

Hotel muito bom

You get what you pay for. The rates are reasonable, the location fine. The hotel is obviously an older property but that's OK. The rooms are clean, the linen OK. I would not stay for more than a couple of nights. Our group of 55 people was there for one night. The key problem with the hotel is the staff. It is obvious that the staff needs to have its interpersonal skills updated. When we settled in for our dinner, one got the feeling that the staff was doing us a favour. Similarly, the front desk seemed totally unable deal with a large group.
