Agriturismo La Palazzina

Breakfast was very limited and was charged separately. It also ran out very quickly as the property owner was very conservative on the amounts ordered in case it didn't sell. The coffee was nice and the presentation on a variety of china and trays was rustic and suited the property.

The property doesn't benefit from air conditioning, which is to be expected in a building of this age, but only 1 fan was provided for the whole apartment. The need to leave windows open to provide some cooling was an issue as this allowed a lot of mosquitos into the apartment due to a lack of nets over the windows. A small amount of investment would cure both of these issues.

The location was nice and peacefull, authentic accomodation, original furniture was beautiful and well restored, romantic lanscape, kind host, very good coffe

I do not recommend this place for a family with small kids. The stairs to get to our apartment were dangerous, access to the pool is a rugged sloping sand path. The pool is dirty because of the sand. The hostess is particularly unpleasant and pretends not to speak English to avoid any contact. There is no fan in the rooms, which could have been salutary in July in Tuscany.

This was a beautiful place in rolling hills of Tuscany. A perfect place to get away from the noise of city and unwind. Beautiful view from the top of the hill. Friendly service. It was hot the night we were there and there was no fan. We left windows open but there were mosquitoes. Just a little plug in fan would be nice.

Unser Aufenthalt im Orchidea war sehr schön. Ein wunderschönes Landhaus mitten in der einzigartigen Landschaft der Toskana. Durch die ruhige, abgelegene Lage war es der ideale Ort für uns zum erholen. Trotzdem erreicht man die größeren Städte Florenz und Pisa in einer Stunde. Vor Ort kann man den großen Pool und die zahlreichen Liegen nutzen. Sehr nette Gastgeberin! Tipp: Man sollte an Mückenspray denken. Und man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass nachts viele Eidechsen im Schlafzimmer unterwegs sind. Alles in allem aber sehr empfehlenswert!
