The Cathedral Hotel

Hotel in a great location with a car park it is just outside the City centre so you don't need to drive through it to get there and it is in a very quiet location. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the hotel is spotlessly clean and is full of character, very comfy rooms and beds, the breakfast is delicious. It is roughly a 10 minute walk into the centre and there is so much to do in Lichfield this is our second stay at this hotel and there will be many more.

There are very few plugs in the bedroom.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Its location was really great so close to the city centre. Breakfast was excellent with super friendly and efficient member of staff again!

Good location, very close to the Cathedral and short walk downhill to lots of restaurants. Excellent breakfast, probably the best we’ve had at a hotel. Friendly staff.

It was very hot in our room in the 3rd floor despite the provision of a fan.

The first room we were allocated was unbearably hot. Even given the heat wave there was no way to cool it down, no way to get a breeze from open window which did not open fully. The man on reception recognised it was the hottest room in the hotel. The room we were given had a fan, no windows but a sky-light with a very cronky electric shade. Luckily I had brought an eye mask.

breakfast was brilliant buffet style , great choice . all the staff we had contact with were really friendly and informative , great bar area

I paid for early check in with parking which cost me £20 , I didnt mind that but when I got there I was charged another £5 for over night parking which I thought was a bit of a rip off , that was nothing to do with the staff , they were just doing there job ALL THE STAFF WERE GREAT

Location was good, 7 minute walk to centre. Room was basic but clean. Bathroom a bit dated and could do with a bit of tlc. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Basic bed room but very clean.

Bedroom was on top floor and was extremely hot, (weather was very warm) hence we found the fan on in the room when we checked in, so thank you for that The bathroom was small, so much so, the toilet itself was literally up against radiator, had to sit at an angle

Close to City Centre Nice rooms

It was very very very hot, there was a fan but maybe in the summer months, AC would be amazing
