Got moved in to 3 different rooms all was faulty horrendous hotel

Not a lot. Plenty of hot water. Good flush on toilet.

The bedroom was cold, especially at night, the radiator was useless & didn't give out much heat. Duvet too thin. No bedside table, or even a small shelf tomoutvpersonal objects on. No hanging space, no coat hangers. Pretty basic accommodation. Wouldn't use it again.

Hotel worn & old. Walking up the stairs someone had a shower in their room & it leaked through the ceiling on the staircase so a bucket was placed on landing. We were booked for two nights but didn’t even stay one night!. we checked in & went out for the afternoon. On return we went to our room, as soon as you opened the door there was a terrible toilet smell which was unbearable, bedding duvet cover yellow stains, sheet had blood marks & mattresses very cheap & springs could be felt & that was just by sitting on the bed. We just could not stay & checked out immediately. I told staff we could not stay as the room stinks & they said nothing just returned our key & money for parking.

The location is ok, I didn’t realise it is a 27 minute walk away from the City centre. The little interaction I had with staff when checking in, they seemed nice and friendly.

Our beds were clean and suitable to sleep in but the room wasn’t so clean. The bathroom was dirty. I expected more for the price I paid to stay here. The TV in our room did not work, one of the lampshades (bedside lamp) was broken. The water running in the bathroom was terrible, drizzling out. In the lounge/communal area, there were some seats marked unusable, the vending machine was broken but there was a small coffee machine which you can use for an extra charge. I wasn’t told about any breakfast options or saw any breakfast facilities. The reception/office area is very old fashioned, they do not have a card machine to take deposit payments for key card. The look of the hotel from the outside is not very appealing either. There is an ASDA around the corner for amenities however the ATM/cash machine was out of order. The shop had an awful strong smell of urine when walking in and out and was not clean. Overall, it was ok to sleep for one night with my children but we will not be returning.
