Chalk and urin marks, hair in bath, bed was okay, but old furniture

This Hotel is simple and functional. Very close to the station and funicular. The rooms are kept clean, but the decoration is old and a bit shabby. The breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant and is ok but not extravagant. It was very hot during my stay and my room had neither air-conditioning nor a fridge for cold drinks. Wifi is reliable.

Chambre vétuste, de la moquette partout et aussi sur l'étagère et sur les parois dans l'armoire. le lit m'a fait penser à ceux de l'armée et les rideaux vintage, même ma grand-mère n'a jamais eu de tels horreurs.

The lift undergoes upgrading when I was there but the receptionist was kind enough to get someone to help me with my luggage. The room furniture was old and need renovation. The room smell. There is no proper luggage storage area. The room is spacious and relatively quiet. Hotel has a good location just in front of the funiculair. Train station is also nearby. Supermarket and restaurant were just round the corner. Very convenient.

I booked my stay the night of my stay, when I arrived at the hotel the door as locked there was no bell and no one would answer the phone (I called 6 times) this left me with no hotel and unable to find another one which resulted with me having to sleep in my car in sub zero temperatures ... very unhappy !!

Just perfect.

Hôtel bien situé, avec parking sous-terrain, personnel sympathique. Mériterait un sérieux "lifting"
