The hotel is too close to a main road and noisy . If you don’t mind car passing noise then it is great hotel

Big rooms and comfy beds. Well located close the centrum. Plenty of options of markets, restaurants and services close to hotel. Just be aware that reception are in different hotel 200m from the place, but nothing to really worry about Friendly staff.

Very nice space. The check-in was off-site but very close. The coffee and bread cafe across the street was great. The heart of Salzburg was close for bikes (rented from the check-in front desk), but a bit far of a walk. Do not miss Steigl brewery just back a few streets (although google maps had the entrance on the wrong side) and Augustiner is fantastic too.

We stayed for 2 nights at this property which proved to be very satisfactory. The location is a short bus ride (frequent buses) from the old town and can be walked in under 30 minutes. Our room was warm (important given the cold winter weather) and well furnished. The bathroom had an excellent shower. There were no noise issues. Breakfast is served in the Hotel zur Post to which Villa Ceconi belongs (a short walk away) and was excellent, with plenty of healthy choices, given the focus on organic products. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend purchasing the Salzburg Card if visitors wish to visit major tourist sites within a prescribed time (Mozart's house, Cathedral Quarter, Fortress) - this also includes local transport charges.
