Hotel La Luna

The location was perfect.

Although the hotel advises that accessibility facilities are limited due to the age of the building, access was only available via a lift. I appreciate the challenges that come with maintaining an older property, however it was quite difficult getting my small mobility scooter in and out of the lift and around the hotel. The room was also quite compact, leaving very little space to manoeuvre comfortably. Breakfast was adequate but not as varied or plentiful as those offered by the other hotels I stayed in during my two-week trip around Italy. One member of staff was particularly pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with another member of staff was less positive. When I asked if it would be possible to obtain €20 cash in exchange for a debit card payment so that I could use the local launderette, I was firmly told to go to the bank. I explained that I had already tried the bank and found it closed, but no alternative assistance was offered. Overall, the hotel was acceptable for a short stay, but there were a number of issues that made it less comfortable and convenient than other accommodation I experienced during my travels

Posizione centralissima, comoda se in moto, hanno parcheggio privato e coperto, receptionist educate e disponibili,anche se ci siamo parlati giusto il tempo per fare ceck in., prezzo non esagerato ma almeno commisurato a cosa offrono…

Struttura un pò datata, bagno discreto con doccia, rubinetteria molto sfruttata, chiedere dove si verrà posizionati può evitare di rimanere delusi, come è successo a noi con affaccio in un cortile pieno di sedie e roba abbandonata. La camera non rispecchia le foto viste su Booking, pertanto per una notte di passaggio può andare ma non per un soggiorno più lungo, la colazione mediocre, due torte abb. fresche, qualche cornetto poi varie confezionate, la parte salata deludente come affettato, se parliamo appunto di cosa si trova a Lucca e in Toscana. Il WIFI in camera non gira, idem nella hall cosa che può creare problemi se si deve fare un lavoro di programmazione delle giornate volta per volta…. Parcheggi moto a pagamento ok, ma 15 € al giorno per moto lo abbiamo trovato fuori prezzo se paragonato ad altre strutture più belle che ne chiedono la metà, sono moto non Auto!

The location is fantastic in the middle of everything

Everything was fine.the staff very helpfull from the first to the last minute.Breakfast perfect.The room was very spacious and clean.Will stay there again😆😆

posizione in pieno centro colazione abbondante e molto variata parcheggio convenzionato con la struttura vicino all'albergo

essendo in una palazzina molto antica non c'e' nessuna possibilita' di mettere un ascensore ma nel sito deve essere specificato.io personalmente sono un disabile(non grave)e se avessi saputo di dover fare 2 piani a piedi non ci sarei andato.

Central location rooms cleaned every day and very comfortable beds . Very friendly staff and nice breakfast .Lovely coffee enjoyed having my breakfast outside on their little courtyard in the sunshine . Our room had fab view overlooking the courtyard below .
