Faros Villa small hotel & restaurant

Great little hotel with excellent facilities and taverna. Perfect location for us but good to have a car. Stayed on same trip in hotels 5 times the price and not as good. Such friendly and helpful owners and staff.

We purposely chose this location away from the hustle of the main part of the town so that we could completely relax. If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay within walking distance of three distinct beaches, I would highly recommend this hotel.

This place is awesome. Genuinely friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help (including Nikos running around late at night to find an aerial cable so I could watch the football!) Beautiful pool and an amazing taverna used by the locals, indicating how good the food was. Breakfast was included and was delicious and varied. Location is a bit out of the way but if you're looking for a relaxing retreat it's perfect.

Wir blieben zwei Nächte im faros Hotel. Die Entfernung von Chora erfordert ein Auto oder Moped, aber dafür hat man herrliche Buchten habt für sich alleine. Auch der Weg in den Süden Naxos lohnt sich, da man an der Küste entlang viele tolle Strände entdecken kann. Das Hotel ist recht klein und unser Zimmer hatte einen großartigen Blick Richtung Süden auf die Ägäis. Daß Zimmer ist hübsch eingerichtet und ist mit einer kleinen Küche ausgestattet, die zumindest zum Nudeln kochen ausreicht. Das Bad war allerdings sehr klein und trotz Duschvorhang stand es regelmäßig unter Wasser. Das Restaurant des Bruders liegt direkt vor dem Hotel und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Dort bekommt man das Frühstück mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft und Spiegelei. Es gab pancakes oder selbstgemachten Milchreis zusätzlich zum üblichen griechischen Frühstück. Der Besitzer selbst stattet einen mit wobei Karte und Gurken Tipps für die Umgebung und die ganze Insel aus. Der Pool ist sehr groß und sauber, bei uns war es jedoch zu kalt zum reinspringen.

Best part of our multi island trip to Greece. Naxos has some nice towns, beaches and mountains. Faros was really nice with a great view of the sea and an excellent pool. The restaurant had really good traditional Greek food too. Probably need a car rental to get around as the hotel is not near a town. The staff picked us up from the ferry in the afternoon and ordered a rental car delivered for us the next morning, worked out great.

Un petit domaine dans un havre de paix. Nous y sommes restés 4 jours et dans tous les hôtels que nous avons faits (6 au total), il les SURPASSE avec une longueur d'avance. Dans notre chambre, il y avait 2 lits, chacun dans une pièce fermé. Merveilleux pour les ronfleurs! Incluant une cuisinette! Nous avons rien a dire de négatif... à oui... une toute petite chose.... quelques chiens au loin s'amusent à japper le jour et la nuit mais on peut rien y faire...

We had a great time at Faros. We arranged with the hotel to be picked up at the ferry, which worked great. We had a good mix of hanging out at the hotel, and exploring the island. The room was very comfortable, and had a great view. The food was great, the staff friendly and helpful - They were very patient with all of our inquiries and attempts to learn Greek. They also helped arrange a rental car for us, which the company delivered right to the hotel. Nikos helped us plan out our two days of exploration, including the main town and other parts of the island. Hopefully we'll be able to go again!

We chose Faros as it was in a remote location, close to the beach and well priced. This family run property is absolutely beautiful. We were there near the end of the season however this was not a problem. The staff were friendly, funny and engaging. The Taverna for dinner is lovely and we ate here a couple of nights of our stay. Mum runs the kitchen and cooks beautiful meals - huge and very well priced. Our room was beautifully presented, modern with a beach feel. You are a 1 minute walk from a sandy white beach and there are a few to choose from around the coves. There is also a large resort style pool and outdoor bar. You do need a car as you are 20km from the Port however they are cheap to hire and we spent a whole day exploring Naxos. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Spending three nights at the Faros Studio Apartments I felt completely taken care of. Customer service is their top priority, I felt I had become a member of the Moustakis family. Nikolaos in particular showed me around town and shared the best places to walk and spend time. At night I'd eat at the taverna managed by his brother Demetrius and their mother. Each night I had an incredibly filling meal that was made with care and tasted delicious. When you walk right off the property you hit a beach. In the three days I was there I only saw two people. I walked through the cedar forest and relaxed in the sun in these beautiful private beach coves. If you are interested in meeting an incredible family, enjoying complete peace and quite with modern and tastefully decorated rooms and you enjoy " getting away from it all" this is the place for you! I can't say anymore about this amazing place but I hope to come back soon!
