Hotel Maximilian

Wonderful staff. Very accommodating and helpful. Great breakfast charming decor. Look about the window at the cows. Great location if our don't minde being out of town a bit.

Beautiful location! Ideal if you are wanting to hike to the Ehrenburg castle ruins. Rooms were clean complete with down comforters. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious. The guy who checked us in did not seem to know what he was doing, he didn't even ask us to fill out any info, just gave us a key, so we had to do that later during dinner. Staff was friendly although some spoke minimal English. Would definitely recommend.

We had a nice room. We were on the 4th floor and the bath was in the section under the eaves and the bath tub was on the far side of the bathroom, so getting in and out of the tub was a challenge. I am 6 ft tall and could only walk about ½ way across the bathroom. I recommend the hotel, but not the 4th floor.

Loved this little family run hotel. Situated in a beautiful area, close to historic castles and lovely walks. The restaurant is fantastic and well priced.
