Hotel Centrale Europa

The first of three rooms was horrible. The night clerk really didn’t speak English. He told me that the room included a balcony (and a city view) as per my reservation. His so-called balcony was a fire escape. It had no view. The WiFi didn’t work and the tv had a weak signal that kept dropping. After I gave the hotel a bad online checkin review, the hotel responded by saying that the issue had been resolved, even before they talked to me. Later they moved me to a room that came closer to the advertised description. One on the third floor, no elevator. The third room had no WiFi the first night, because the desk clerk gave me the wrong info. Poor bathroom. Poor tv reception. They made the bed every morning, but never changed the sheets. The man that worked the front desk during the day spoke English and was very helpful.

Later they offered to change my room to one that came closer to the advertised description. One on the third floor, no elevator. The man that worked the front desk during the day spoke English and was very helpful. The others were useless. The hotel is very average but in a great location.

The staff on reception desk were helpful and polite, the location was ideal next to the Duomo and Via Etnea street, also a number of good restaurants below and within 200 yds. Bedding clean Probably needs to use newer bath mats and shower curtain and better quality towels, no safe in the room, 14in TV

Ideally located AT the center of the old city. Steps from bus stops (as well as, inter-bus and aero-bus). Walking distance to many attractions. Central station is 1 km amaway. Sound proof is excellent. Mr Simone at the reception is kindly providing detailed, reliable and accurate information for trips and sightseeings.. Disappointed by the breakfast served in a neighbouring cafeteria: coffee and a croissant-type sweet. Although poor in quantity, I must admit that the quality and taste are great.

Excellent view of the piazza from this hotel. Picturesque, scenic and close to the life of the city. No elevators, which wasn't an issue for me but something to consider if you want to stay on the top floor.

Centralt beliggende hotel. Ikke nogen service. Morgenmad på en nærliggende fortovscafe.
