Great. Location in country. Great views of surrounding areas.

We only spent one night but the hotel was nice with friendly staff and good breakfast included.

Amazing location and sunset during dinner. Friendly helpful staff, arriving without a toothbrush was soon remedied. Food good, though expected a little more. Quiet and traditional, popular with the olds. Only criticism, the room was much smaller than any of the on line photos and we dipped out by having the fire escape blocking the view. The room was a little tired also.

The staff was so helpful and made us feel welcome. The food was very good and well priced . Our room was clean and queit .

Hotel is well maintained, though not all rooms are renovated. Restaurant is very good or dinner. Breakfast is also good. Its a 20 minutes drive from Freiburg, bet you get a free ride pass from the hotel, if you book two or more nights.

Lovely hotel with large rooms, balconies, spacious dining areas, excellent restaurant menus at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Couldn't ask for anything more. We've stayed at several hotels in the Black Forest area for several years and haven't found one to top this one.

We traveled with a family of 5 total and one small dog. We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor and it was newly renovated. Our Bathroom was great, very very clean, a super, wonderful, always hot walk-in shower. Beds were very comfortable, a nice balcony and view, plenty of room. We LOVED our hotel stay. The staff did an outstanding job, they catered to our party, reserving tables for us at breakfast and dinner. The staff was very helpful and informative of the area and things to do. The spoke and understood English very well. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel! Although we never used the amenities, there was a lot to offer, walking trails, bowling alley, sauna, tanning bed. The hotel was very easy to find and very convenient to major highways. The only possible thing I would complain about would be the Wifi, we had trouble on the 3rd floor being able to get reception, but in the hotels defense, we never let the staff know to see if they could help us. We had no problems getting wifi in the main lobby.

We arrived at this Hotel to a very friendly welcome ,we didn't know much German but the girl on the desk was very good at English ,we had evening meal twice which was amazing. Well done to the chef.The waitresses were also very good English and really helped to explain the menu to us.We have been on a road trip around Germany and stayed in many hotels and I must say this was the nicest and most welcoming one out of all them ,can't wait to return hopefully again one day . Customer Service is excellent here without making you feel uncomfortable ,well done to all your team .

What a gem of a hotel. Outstanding customer service both at the front desk and in the dining room. The food was outstanding and the accommodations as well. Definite return to hotel !!!!
