Location in the black forest - nice. Room decor - a bit old and less inviting than anticipated.

Quality, peaceful, scenic, comfortable, great food, great staff, great room. All round great place to stay the night.

Hotel was very helpful, no tea or coffee facilities in room, restaurant expensive. Good customer serice, picked us up when we got lost lol, rang them and they came right away to get us.spoke good english.

We enjoyed the location of this hotel. A lovely forest walk straight from the door with elevated views of the whole area. You need a car due to location, however we found our rental car a lot easier than taking a train, etc. The restaurant had nice food at a reasonable price and the breakfasts were great. Some excellent short drives from the hotel, a couple we enjoyed were up a winding road to a ski resort and another to castle ruins nearby. The beds were comfortable and our room on the 3rd floor had a great balcony view.

Room was very clean with helpful staff.

This was my second visit this year to this hotel - absolutely perfect from the setting, to the service, to the quaint room. Will continue to select this facility when traveling.

Super location in amongst the Black Forest with lovely village close by to enable exploring by train, bus, cycle or walking. Really comfortable hotel with great meals.

Set away from the busy city. Small town. Bakery close by. Restaurant and bar in the hotel. Super nice staff. Clean and cozy rooms. Loved the peaceful quiet night and woke up to horses and birds. Wow. I strongly recommed this is a great value. We got there late and while the restaurant was closed the waitress still served us drinks and no rush. A+++++++
