Casarufolo Paradise

Casarufolo Paradise is a one-of-a-kind location high on the hills above Sorrento. The views of Sorrento and the coast are incredible. The owner, Gianluigi is quite a character and very accommodating to any requests. You have to consider the 5 minute trip into town down the hills like a roller coaster ride!

Although Gianluigi makes himself available for the quick trips into town and back, you do have to do a bit of extra planning to make the arrangements. If you decide to walk up, it can be challenging, especially if it’s hot, so make sure you’re in shape!

The views! It was very quiet up there, and all the rooms were separated so there was privacy.

It was quite a hike from the main city, so most of the time we were shuttled up and down at specified times.

We had an amazing stay at Casarafolo Paradise. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and located in a beautiful area with an incredible atmosphere. Everything was exactly as described, and we felt welcome from the first moment. The owner was exceptionally kind, caring, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The level of hospitality was truly outstanding. We especially appreciate that he personally drove us to the ferry at 6 AM free of charge — such kindness and care are very rare and made our trip even more special. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend these apartments to anyone visiting Sorrento and would gladly stay here again!

La vista dalla camera e la colazione assolutamente impagabile per la posizione dei tavoli e il servizio molto attento. La camera essenziale ma confortevole. La disponibilità estrema dell’host e la sua puntualità.

Servizio navetta da perfezionare. Il mezzo è abbastanza datato e poco confortevole in presenza di buche. Piu’ cuscini in camera. Almeno una doppia selezione nell’armadio. Piu’ selezione di frutta e yogurt a colazione. Ma sono dettagli. Per un paio di giorni, massimo tre, va piu’ che bene!

Excelente lugar para alojarse!!! Tiene una vista hermosa del Vesubio!!! Muy linda la habitación y muy rico el desayuno!!! Excelente atención de Gianluigi y su familia!!!

Nothing to complain

Gianluigi is an amazing host! I highly recommend Casarufolo Paradise. He was so kind, gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do, arranged day trips for us, and provided drop offs/pick ups for wherever we needed to be each day! The room was spacious and clean and the property was absolutely beautiful with a stunning view of the city and sea! We would stay there a thousand times over and plan to do so again! The stay and experience he provides is by far above and beyond anything I’ve experienced before! From nightly pickups in town to beautiful breakfasts each morning, he treats you truly as family. We cannot wait to be in paradise with him once again!

Gianluigi and his family were very welcoming, warm and helpful. Gianluigi organized our trip to Capri which was great. Gave suggestions for places to dine or places to visit. Gladly shuttle you into town and back to Casarufolo Paradise at all hours. Scenic location and views were spectacular! If we even go back to the Almafi coast, I’ld stay there again.

Everything ! We can’t fault one thing! From the rustic Italian feel, the views over Sorrento and Vesuvius to the above and beyond service by Gianluigi - everything was spot on. The fact it is located approx 2km off the road up a rough and ready switchback driveway, just adds to the experience. Gianluigi is happy to run guests in and out of Sorrento / to and from the train station all day as needed. We booked this accommodation due to reviews we had read and it did not disappoint. Thank you Gianluigi for putting the cherry on the top of our stay in Sorrento.
