Casarufolo Paradise

This lovely rental is located above the town of Sorrento with a breathtaking view of the village and Naples Bay.  Our room was comfortable with a double bed and ensuite bathroom with walk in shower.   Each morning, there was a breakfast of breads, tomatoes, and various spreads, as well as tea, coffee, and juice served on a picturesque balcony overlooking the bay. Gianluigi, the owner of the large villa, lives onsite and is masterful at driving up and down the steep, narrow, winding passageways that lead up to his place and around the picturesque town.  He happily picks you up from a spot 200 m from the train station on arrival, and has a nightly pick up point at 9 pm and 10 pm so that you need not worry about walking the steep incline back to the villa. Sorrento is a small town and Gianluigi knows so many of the locals, easily able to set up tours and rentals if you wish.  We had prearranged our activities, but he was still happy to drop us off in town in the morning as we went about our day.  He works tirelessly to ensure his guests have an enjoyable stay.  

You might be scared off by the location, but believe me, Gianluigi makes it a non issue.  Once you get there, you will see why this place is called paradise!

Super süßes kleines Casa mit herrlichem Ausblick. Die Zimmer waren sauber und man hatte Fensterladen, sodass der Raum schön dunkel war. Das Frühstück war kontinental. Luigi war der Mann für alles und super nett und hilfsbereit.

Wer Aussicht will muss hoch hinaus, sodass es etwas abgelegen war und man immer auf den Transfer von Luigi angewiesen ist, der super funktioniert hat und schon ein Abenteuer für sich ist.

The breakfast was great , the view from here over Sorrento was stunning and Gianluigi was brilliant for lifts and everything.

A million-dollar view of Sorrento from the breakfast area and my room. Very friendly, family-like atmosphere, clean room, and a property full of flowers. The owner, Luigi, provided a shuttle for daily travel to the town and back to the hotel, which made my stay problem-free.

The most amazing location at the top of the hill overlooking the city of Sorrento with Mount Vesuvious in the background. Gianluigi was an amazing host who waited on your every need, whether it was a ride into town and back, or hooking you up with any excursion you want. It's a special place...

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön auf einem Hügel gelegen mit Blick auf Sorrent und den Vesus. Gianluigi ist ein wirklich toller Gastgeber!

Should be 10 stars! Quintessential, postcard real Italian experience- location, ambience, family-run boutique hotel. Host went above and beyond serving elderly with mobility challenges - carrying large luggage to and from car and taking us to and from Sorrento when requested and timely. This is a‘must stay’.

We had a lovely stay here. The accommodation has a lovely view over Sorrento and it beautiful and peaceful. Gianluigi. Was a wonderful hosts and picked us up on arrival, dropped us up and back to town, as well as to tours and the train station. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was nice and fresh and again there was a beautiful view. We had a wonderful stay.
