Hotel Piero Della Francesca

Reception is manned by very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and air-conditioned, with ample car-parking alongside the hotel, and the bus stop into the centre of Urbino just outside reception.

Hotel perfetto per chi ama viaggiare senza tante esigenze di lusso inutile. Pulito silenzioso e vicino al centro.

For the price, ease of parking, and walking access to the old town it's a good choice on a budget. The a/c worked and the breakfast was acceptable. It's Spartan, and housekeeping seems a bit derelict in its duties, but it's 41€ for a single. I was there for on,y one night. For two I might make a different choice. If you're pinching pennies it's not bad for two. One doesn't really need more than one night in Urbino.

Die Stadt ist wunderschön und interessant, das Wetter war leider nicht gut und wir mussten 4 Stunden in einer Bar einen Regenguss abwarten, es war unmöglich auf die Straßen zu gehen.

Hotel is on great position, only couple of minutes walk from historic center, close to shopping center and very easy to find thanks to vicinity of hospital, so you only have to follow street signs for that. Also, easy to park for free. The staff is friendly, rooms spacious and very clean. The food was decent and they were always offering more and wine refills. If you are coming with car, I would recommend it for easy parking and accessibility. Staff has maps of city prepared with basic addresses of attractions, working time and prices. And if you are not familiar with works of great painter Pierro Della Francesca, you can see replicas all over the reception :) Some of the originals are being kept in city center.

Clean room but quite small. No restaurant. 20 minute walk to town, stayed 2 nights in March, long enough. Breakfast ok but not up to standard of most modern hotels, maybe better in season.

Neanche da commentare. Certe strutture andrebbero chiuse per fatiscenza. Docce non funzionanti, mobilio che cade a pezzi, pulizia inesistente.

abbiamo fatto riferimento all'hotel Piero Della Francesca in Urbino per un bisogno logistico dal momento che il nostro week end è stato piuttosto itinerante per apprezzare alcuni borghi più belli d'Italia delle Marche. Hotel nel complesso soddisfacente sotto l'aspetto qualità/prezzo: alcuni piccoli dettagli negativi che potrebbero essere risolti semplicemente: *)una presa di corrente *)luci ausiliarie allo specchio NON funzionanti nel bagno non funzionanti nel bagno

Hotel Piero Della Francesca in Urbino was a pleasant surprise. Expectations matter and mine weren’t too high based on the price (€65 double in July) and the reviews. But it’s fine. No charm and it’s not IN the historic center but it’s perfectly functional, clean and spacious if a bit warn around the edges, good AC, good wi-fi, lift, little terrace with lovely view of the hills. Free parking along the street beside it. It is a bit of a walk to the center (2/3 mile, took about 10 minutes to the town gate) but it’s mainly flat and there’s a sidewalk, boring walk but perfectly safe, mostly shaded. Breakfast was just adequate, the croissants, yogurt and cappuccino were all good but that was about it.)
