Laticastelli Country Relais

Che dire....ottimo resort immerso in un piccolo borgo situato sopra una delle colline di Rapolano Terme, punto strategico per visitare tutta la provincia di Siena, a un passo da Firenze, Arezzo, Perugia e Cortona.Personale preparato e gentile, sempre disponibile a soddisfare le richieste. Meravigliosa la piscina a sfioro con panorama sulla valle, rilassante e molto romantica. Un'esperienza bellissima, consigliatissimo.

Le mie aspettative sono state deluse pensavo più confort soprattutto rispetto Al rapporto qualità PREZZO. TROPPO CARO MA NON ERA ESCLUSIVO COME MI ASPETTAVO la location della piscina era splendida

Tivemos uma boa experiência no hotel. Temos apenas alguns comentários. O café da manhã está muito aquém do nível do hotel. O colchão da cama era pouco confortável e as molas muito barulhentas.

Our home-away-from-home for a week could not have been any more perfect. When we walked into our rooms joined by the cutest living room, it was love at first sight. The colours, the views... I could have just stayed there and looked through the window for hours on. But we had much too visit! Eventhough you feel so remote, the hotel is conveniently located near some main roads that will get you to Florence in an 1h20 and 30 to 45min for Sienna and so many fabulous villages in the Chianti region. Our very difficult daily rythme started with the pool in the morning (so quiet at that time) and visits in the afternoon - so perfect that we wished we planned for 2 weeks instead of 1. Paolo looked after us every day at breakfast and his kindness brightened up our days... We also all agreed that Eglantina who manages the hotel is a superstar!!! A special mention also to the incredible sunsets on the valley... my warning: you will want to move in by the end of your stay!!!

The stay was great, a very very special place. Service was also top of the class. The only downside was that the restaurant - which is managed separately from the hotel - does not quite meet the same standard as the resort.

Un piccolo ma pregevole angolo di paradiso, quasi bloccato dal tempo. Nei pressi di Siena, a due passi dagli stabilimenti termali di Rapolano Terme, si trova questo piccolo borgo medioevale, finemente ristrutturato ed adibito a relais. Una sensazione unica, come quella di tornare indietro nel tempo. Oltre alla privacy (una stradina sterrata di accesso in mezzo al bosco, ed una per scendere) il borgo offre un ampio parcheggio, una piscina a sfioro con vista panoramica su una vallata e sulle colline senesi circostanti, un ristorante (dove viene servita la colazione, unico punto migliorabile del nostro soggiorno), un giardino comune, immerso anch’esso nel verde da poter utilizzare per leggere, fare due chiacchiere o semplicemente riposare. Vale la pena passare almeno una notte. Gestione citata in ogni dettaglio. Compresa una bottiglia di vino in omaggio ed il frigobar pieno a disposizione gratuita. Fantastico!

Debated weather to write this for a while but it was a shame and hopefully any feedback will help. We are in italy often and stay in Tuscany, luxury accommodations. but unfortunately won't be back. This place has potential but lacks, investment and attention to detail to make it a luxury stay. The buildings and property, story are quite beautiful externally but not all accommodations are like the pictures. Our room furnishings were cheap, mismatched and room was quite awful. Like furniture you would get at an idea (not even antique country furniture). The shower head sprayed all through the shower curtain, we had to put towels and toilet bags around edge of it and the bath to secure it as the water came through and saturated the bathroom floor every time. The window in the shower had plastic sticky wrap on the window to frost the glass which was peeling off, black mould and cob webs (luxury would be replacing the glass to proper frosted glass). There was 2 random ugly, stained, drinking mugs to make tea in the room. Not all the light switches worked. The lamp in the lounge sparked when switched on. They don't say that you can hear the freeway and cars form some rooms and lying by the pool, it's not very peaceful. All night I Heard trucks. No ability to get a drink by the pool. It's bring your own or walk up to reception area. We decided to have a drink one evening. The area near the restaurant with red couches was dirty, dirty furniture, wet, couldn't sit. The red couches were old like from Ikea. Dinner was always nice though. Breakfast was horrendous!!! Everything came out of a packet, was high sugar, sweet. No real inclusion of hot food, all cold, high sugar museli, muffins, cakes etc. Nothing truly healthy. More 3 star cheap hotel style. The fruit was even canned fruit in syrup which again was high sugar and not fresh. On one day only there were fresh plums, which were rotten, soft and inedible. The second day they didn't even fill up the bowl of canned fruit in syrup and everyone I could hear in the morning was annoyed. I'm an animal lover and there was a beautiful old dog there. Subsequently he has to sleep outside at night and his dog box was outside my room. I had to watch the poor old dog chained up to this box at night howling. I'm sure he was going blind and couldn't see, was scared of noises so prob should be inside at night. On Instagram it looked like horse riding was an activity, when we got there, no horses. This for us is more basic accommodations. This was our honeymoon and it was disappointing. With attention to detail, fresh quality breakfast, room fit out upgrades, customer service it could be better. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Son engañosa las fotografias de las hab. Que ofrecen. No dan la hab. Por lo cual uno abona El hotel es muy original, hermosa la piscina. Muy interesantes los planos que sugieren que pueblos de la Toscana son interesantes para visitar

The hotel is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Beautiful view and the restaurant is excellent. You can visit several places around and relax in the pool. The breakfast is good but could have more options.

We recently stayed for a relaxing break after we go married and it was the perfect place to relax! The hotel is in an incredible setting, on top of a hill, in the buildings of a medieval town! It felt very private and secluded as all the bedrooms/reception/restaurant etc are in different buildings. The bedrooms I would describe as rustic decor, but extremely clean and tidy, a large comfy bed, good wardrobe/drawer space. The bathroom was more modern and very beautiful. Every room there is different, we were lucky to have a living room/second bedroom as well, and it was lovely to be able to sit in there and enjoy some wine! I highly recommend the restuarant as well! The food, service and wine was incredible, if a little slow, so go with that in mind and to enjoy your relaxing evening! It didn't bother us as we were happy to have a nice long relaxing dinner.
