Beautiful gardens, amazing pool area, incredible views on hilltop property, charming “cottages” , cozy dining room with open kitchen, meticulous housekeeping, wine and olive oil tastings.

The lane leading up to it is very narrow and dusty………. But manageable and worth it to stay here!

Lupaia was exceptional in every way. It's beautiful, peaceful, warm, friendly, comfortable ... I could go on and on. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are fabulously comfortable. All staff members throughout the property were warm and friendly without being overbearing. We stayed for three nights and had dinner each night at the restaurant. All of the meals were extraordinary. They accomodated our pescetarian diet without batting an eyelash. My husband and daughter also enjoyed the wine pairing, and the knowledgeable server explained so much about the wines that we didn't feel like we needed to do a separate wine tasting. We also enjoyed a wonderful picnic in the olive groves--absolutely heavenly. Breakfasts were so fresh and delicious. And everything was served in the perfect portion--enough to enjoy without overdoing. Cocktails by the peaceful pool and aperitivos overlooking Montepulciano were the icing on the cake. Honestly, the best place we've ever stayed in all respects.
