Nea Metropolis

Horrible place, honestly horrible this is only way to explain the condition, comfort and cleanliness of this Hotel not sure even if I can call this place a hotel. Owner extremly rude!!! Please be extremly careful before you choose this place!!!!!!!!! Best ... Avoid !

Ask for the room on the upper floor otherwise you will know what's up in the hotel all the night. No other remarks.

Very dirty hotel. The toilets had not even normal door. The layers of the bed was very hard. The soundproofing was non-existent. The doors were vacuum underneath. This hotel must have been renovated never. It is from prewar period. I loathed the morning to go to breakfast, I went and ate out.The night was very noisy from other guests. I wonder how it has 3 stars. This 1 star nor not. I loathed and expect to come the morning to leave. It's a shame such a beautiful city can not control the hotels and tourists to experience such STATEMENTS in 2014!

We initially booked only one night, but ended up staying an extra night because we enjoyed our time in Thessolaniki so much, and because the hotel itself was very pleasant. Very welcoming and knowledgeable reception staff, clean and functional rooms, and nearby to the najpr shopping and restaurants. Though clean, the bathroom was very small, but if you're going to Thessolaniki for the hotel bathrooms perhaps this isn't the city (or country) for you. Enjoy your time here... we did!

The reception team at Nea Metropolis are the best! We needed all sorts of help as our bags went missing for 5 days and whatever we needed they gave it with a smile. The breakfast was also great value - simple but very yummy. Our room was comfortable enough but had the usual tiny Greek handheld shower. The bathroom could use a good clean with bleach but this was a small thing. The in room safe was very handy. The aircon was very good. We would definately stay here again if in Thessaloniki.

Rather basic but cheap, clean and with well working wifi. We stayed for 4 nights and had a pleasant time there. Very friendly staff. We didn't have breakfast, no clue if it's good.

The bathroom in our room had no shower curtain andit looked like a double porter potty, just put in to make it a hotel room

This hotel was convenient for my one night stay in Thessaloniki. Breakfast was fine and the front desk was very helpful with bus schedules and restaurant recommendations. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for a comfortable location on a quick and budgeted trip. We had no problem finding the hotel and it was well within walking distance of the places we wished to visit. Also very close to several bus stops.

This hotel was a great budget option. We saw two rooms here and the room with 2 twin beds had more room and was more comfortable than the one double bed. The guy at the hotel reception was extremely friendly, courteous, and informative. He really went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was good too.
