Staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

It was very easy to walk to all the main sites and to find from the bus and train station. Was not expecting much and got that, but clean, helpful and great location

It's an older building but clean and well maintained. Great location near the train station and sites of interest. The two gentleman and the front desk were friendly and accommodating. No complaints. Highly recommend.

Good hotel at a good price in the city center. Very courteous staff, pleasant environment, delicious breakfast, a well-functioning Wi-fi. In addition, guests have access to a computer with an Internet connection and a printer. Stop the night bus from the airport is located one block away.

Nea Metropolis was perfect for what we needed. It is well situated, in the center of town. It is close to all the bars and nice restaurants, although it is a bit further to the main attractions. The room was nice with high ceilings, but the bathroom facilities were lacking. I now know that it is the case throughout Greece so I was not surprised but the shower was very inconvenient. The people at the reception were very nice and answered our questions in detail, providing maps and printing schedules for us.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the room was extremely spacious and clean with a big private bathroom. The staff were super friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast in the morning was satisfactory, it had everything you would want. The location was really good, just a 10 minute walk to everywhere you'd like to be. I'd definitely recommend it, especially to budget travelers!

Very small room. You can feel all the action in your upper floor. The layers between the floors should be very thin. Anyone entering the room above you definately wakes you up without indeed making an anormally great noise. In addition to that you can easily hear the teenagers screaming at 2 o'clock in the sunday nights. Also, the windows allow air from their framesides and this is a real problem especially if you are staying at the hotel in January at 3 C temperature. The bed is the crappiest bed I ever laid. The toilet was a crap; there was almost no tent that seperates the shower. The receptionist while I was leaving had almost no English. So I had difficulty, getting aid from him for the bus stop's location. Also he stopped me like 10-15 minutes asking me to pay although I told him that I paid via Expedia many times... After these minutes of impossible conversation, he was convinced. You need to walk sth. like 10-15 minutes to the main street Tsmiski. and kinda 15-20 minutes to the Aristoteles square. I don't recommend this hotel at all!

For the price it's really nice. Don't expect much.
