ターペー門から徒歩3分の便利なロケーションです。旧市街の堀から1本裏手の道に位置しています。近くにはスターバックス、両替屋などあり、旧市街の探索と、ピン河方面の環境の両方にアクセスしやすいです。近くにはおしゃれなクラフトビールをタップで出してくれるお店もあります。 北部で有名なTok Senマッサージが受けられるワットマハマンも徒歩3分くらいです。 宿は受付の方も、朝食がいただけるレストランも、お掃除の方も皆感じがよくフレンドリーな雰囲気。私は4階にステイしましたが、もちろんエレベータはありません。毎日ミネラルウォーターやトイレットペーパーなど必要な物をしっかりと補充してくれます。Wi-Fiもストレスなく使うことができました。 朝食はメインが5種類から選べます。フルーツやサラダ、ヨーグルトなどは食べ放題。 難点をあげるとしたら、交通通りが多い旧市街の堀の道路の1本裏のため、夜中に少しうるさいところ（繁華街のうるささではありませんが神経質な方は気になるかものレベルです）、また仕方ないことですがシャワーの水圧が弱いです。 けれど総合的には非常に快適で満足できるステイでした。また泊まりたいと思います。

Really friendly team and a great location to stay. Next time when i visit chiang mai, i will book it again.

We stayed at Thapae Happy House for 5 days during our the lantern festival time in November 2018. The location was fabulous for the festival and sightseeing given it was just around the corner from Thapae Gate (one of the main gates into the old City), but also a relatively short walk down to the river. The room was clean and cozy and has AC but we were on the 5th floor and the bathroom was more a wet room. Being on the 5th floor wasn't necessarily an issue for us, however, anyone with mobility issues, please bear this in mind. Breakfast was provided every morning which included fresh fruit, toast, croissants and eggs...not sure whether there were further options. The team that work here are incredibly accommodating and really go out of their way to help where they can.

The room is cosy but it is a little too small. The aircon is cool, water heater is warm enough and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was decent as well. The only bad thing I can find is that there is no elevator and there are no slippers in the room. Overall, it’s a good stay.

床很舒適，也很乾淨 地點很方便，過條馬路就到Sunday Market， 附近也有24小時快餐店及便利店 服務員十分友善及細心 只是早餐有進步的空間，但一切還是極好

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel car nous n'avions qu'une nuit à passer à Chiang mai, il est certes bien placé mais les chambres standard ressemblent plus à des cages à poule qu'à des chambres dignes de ce nom! l insonorisation est inexistante, en revanche le personnel est très accueillant

Staff was really kind, the rooms are small but quite nice and breakfast it’s simple but okay for what you pay. The location is really good though, you can take cheap transportation to the different temples/places of interest and there’s plenty of close restaurants to choose from.
