Hotel Palace

Had a great stay. Hotel a bit dated but good. The location is fantastic right near town and bars and restaurants, Staff were excellent. The only problem is it's next to a cinema and the noise can be extreme right up till midnight. While I was not overly offended I can imagine this will be a problem to some

Needs new shower heads. Or clean existing ones. Full of calcium

This is a comfortable 3* hotel , yes the interior is dated, but it doesn't make the place any less comfortable. There's a big lobby area with comfy seats and tables which is nice if you've got a small room. Walkable to all main ghings, 20 mins walk from station.

Great location as Bologna is a very walkable city. The room was quaint, all the basic amenities we needed. They did have a very strict 2:00 pm check in but kindly held our luggage. The room was a little “stuffy” with older carpeting which was our only complaint. Two minutes to the main square. Great location for a budget friendly option!

The location is perfect. However, the hotel needs a significant overhaul. As an example: The AC did not work.

The bed was not comfy, the curtains were falling apart, the window shades didnt close completely, the a/c was terrible.

As a 3 star hotel, this was a great place to stay. I’d read other reviews before choosing; yes, it’s dated, but honestly who cares? It’s an old building. It’s clean and comfortable - our room was nice, the toilet seat did not fit the toilet properly which was not too much of an issue. The staff are friendly and helpful. Yes, it’s carpeted everywhere and there is a slight musty smell (in one area of the lobby) as mentioned in other reviews. Honestly not an issue. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby area downstairs, it’s great that they had vending machines including one for hot drinks in the big lobby area - they were all 80 cents. The location is great, so close to the main square but set back off the main road.

The property is old building with high portico. The furnishings are old but that is reminiscent of the past and can be charming. The single room was a good size with high ceilings and the sheets and towels all cotton, but the first impression is horrible. The entrance and all common areas have a dreadful, stained carpet that immediately give you a bad impression, maintenance is an issue. Loose floors, broken, missing knobs, unkempt furniture, moldy shower curtains. General impression, poor, unsafe and shabby.
