L'Isola

Arrived pretty late but show to our room without fuss. Then escorted to nearby restaurant for dinner. Room adequate - lovely sea view. Bathroom a little tired Continental breakfast ok but chipped plates provided both days! Santa Marinella is a charming little seaside resort - very quiet.

We loved our one night stay at L'Isola! Even after going to the wrong L'Isola in Fiumicino and having to adventure our way back through rome and to the train and to Santa Marinella! lol We thought the mini adventure was quite fun. Anyways once we made our way to the hotel, got something to eat, slept as we were extremely jet lagged, the staff recommended an exquisite restaurant for dinner. I can't say enough great things about our experience. Breakfast was super tasty and refreshing. They also called the limo shuttle for us that took us in comfort to the Port for our week long cruise. We'll be back!

Well located large room with large balcony with a beautiful view. Away from the busy streets. Autentic italian atmosphere.

We loved staying here! Our room had a balcony and a view on the beach and palm trees. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They served us coffee and tea to our room. In the morning they made croissants. The smell wafted to our room and they were delicious!

We stayed here one night as a place to camp before going to the airport the next morning. Easy drive in to the airport, and the hotel is clean and pleasant, but nothing special. The town itself is a bit tattered, although there is a fairly good restaurant right next door.

we arrived later than we thought, so we didn't have a lot of time to walk around. however, the staff was very nice, the room had a great view of the water. all in all - a great one night stay.

Hotel staff extremely helpful and speak English. Hotel is clean and has most amenities -- nice seafood restaurant next door. Rooms are good sized, and view to the sea is wonderful.

The stay at L'isola was wonderful. It is a simple hotel in a very small seaside town.The staff was friendly and very helpful.They even spoke English. We had missed our flight and arrivedat 10 PM. The manager was waiting for uswith a warm WELCOME. The hotel lacks an elevator but the manager quickly had our bags carried up for us. He had saved a room with a sea view and twin beds ,just as we had requested. The view was lovely. The room was simple,clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and abudent with muffins,breads, yougart,cereals,fruits and tea and coffee served in a charming sunny room with doors out to the sea. The staff was eager to please. We walked around the little town and they made delicious fresh coffee for us to enjoy on the little patio when we returned. They arranged for a van ride to Civita vecchia that cost 60 Euros for 2 people. I would deffinately stay there again.Much more relaxed than overnighting in Rome before a cruise.
