Casa Country Villa Pompei

Wonderful place to stay in Pompeii. Very close to ruins and train station. Unfortunately,if you want to go to dinner, it is a very expensive cab ride to the center of town where all the restaurants are located. Antonio and Lena where wonderful hosts and very helpful with information. Great breakfast.

We stayed in this sweet little villa a few minutes walk away from Pompeii ruins. It was great to be so close to the ruins but out of the way of the main busy part of the city.

Lina and her husband could not be any kinder. They went out of their way to make our stay a good one. Lina also bakes a fresh strawberry and apple tart everyday for breakfast, which includes all the regular Italian breakfast items. Only hard part is finding the place, a little gem tucked away.

What an amazing stay! Our host worked tirelessly to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. Our boys liked the place so much they asked to stay another night! Would go back in a heartbeat!

We only booked one night as we had planned only one day for Pompeii. If we have the opportunity to get back to Pompeii, we will definitely stay here again and for longer. Our gps didn't quite figure out our location so we called and Lena jumped right in her car and came to us and guided us to her villa. Her Casa is absolutely beautiful! We spent the evening on the veranda enjoying a leisurely meal, slept well and were warmly greeted with the best breakfast of our entire months travel around Europe. Thank you oodles! :)

The host was so kind. The property was clean and we felt safe. The food was great. Price was great. Pompei is an un-kept community. Very strange to have to have high walls with locks around each property. GPS even had a hard time finding the location. Walking distance to Pompei ruins and some great pizza! Take Pompei (southern Italy) for what it is and enjoy!

The B&B had very clean and comfy rooms. The hotel was about a 15 minute walk from the entrance to the Pompeii ruins. The only annoyance was many of the neighboring homes had dogs that barked well into the night. Luckily my wife and I had ear plugs.The owner of the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast selection was probably the best of any B&B we stayed at in Italy.

Lina is a great hostess, she helped us plan our trips around the Pompeii area. Gave us a short tour of the area, helped in anyway she could. Breakfast was tasty and room was clean. Easy walking distance to train station. We enjoyed our stay and would go back if we had family that wanted to go to the Naples area. This bed and breakfast definitely provided a personal touch.

Getting there was a little tricky as the streets don't conform to standard, but once we followed the orange location pin on the hotel.com map, we were able to find the hotel. The B&B is surrounded by security cameras and lights to ensure safety. We were able to park just outside our room which had a covered porch. Every comfort was met. Lina is an excellent hostess and eager to assist. The breakfast was plentiful and attractively presented. The coffee is excellent. All in all, the hotel is a great value for the money.
