Casa Country Villa Pompei

I arrived there without my wallet, having it stolen at Naples train station. Lina, the manager, did everything she could to help me contact my banks to cancel my credit cards. She also provided emotional support through the little things she did to make me feel welcome. She drove me twice to where I needed to go to fix the problem. Good breakfasts and some of Lina's homemade fruit tortes. One afternoon when I returned from a day trip I found a thermos of hot tea in my room. Thanks Lina. Will you marry me?

We stayed here for 3 nights in April 2014. We had one family room (a double bed and a bunk bed), which came with an ensuite. The owner was very friendly, spoke fairly good English, and went over and above what was expected. She offered us lifts to and from the station, gave us a home-grown grapefruit when we were interested, and even gave us a little gift at the end of our stay! The breakfasts included home baked bread and biscuits, and a good variety of other pastries, fruit and yoghurts. The shower was nice when there was hot water. Each day however when the rooms were cleaned, lots of our things were moved to different places, which seemed unnecessary! There is CCTV in the rooms, which we were not told about, but I think you can unplug it. The gates are locked and the place is safe. Slightly confusing to get to, as there seem to be 2 roads with the same name close by each other, and we looked on the wrong road! Generally very happy though, it had a very nice feel :)

We love the location and the rooms were nice. The staff was most helpful but not every one spoke English.

Everything was fantistic, they were so accomidating. Breakfast was unbelievably great!

Lovely room, very clean! Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful hostess. A bit confusing to find. Close to Pompei excavations as the crow flies but a good bit longer around by car or foot. Would definitely recommend.
