Bed and Breakfast Sant'Andrea

In generale il BB offre un bel soggiorno: il padrone di casa è davvero gentile e la colazione è semplice ma buona e tutto preparato con molta cura. Le stanze sono bellissime, sopratutto quella grande -grande differenza- ed è molto centrale. A due passi di tutto. L´unico "però" è che c'era una macchia grandicella sul copriletto che dava una brutta sensazione e anche la doccia e la tenda della doccia potevano essere più pulite. Le lenzuona e gli asciugamani pulitissimi... ma la macchia credetemi, faceva una brutta impressione. Comunque, ci tornerei, magari chiedendo la stanza grande che era anche più pulita (il signore ce l´ha fatta vede).

Deze B&B ligt in centrum Orvieto. De vriendelijke ontvangst en persoonlijke benadering van de eigenaar sprak ons zeer aan. 's ochtends werden wij gewekt door de heerlijke koffiegeur. Het ontbijt was zeer eenvoudig (veel zoet) maar met veel zorg bereid. Kamers waren keurig verzorgd en heel netjes. Wij willen hier zeker nog eens terugkomen.

Preciso che questo non è un Hotel ma un modestissimo B&B. Struttura molto vecchia,non c'è parcheggio, colazione modesta, il prezzo della camera non è assolutamente in linea con i servizi offerti. Unica nota positiva riguarda l'ubicazione è molto centrale.

La sistemazione è in un non troppo restaurato palazzo del '500: le due camere a disposizione hanno il pregio di aver conservato suggestivi ricordi dei secoli passati ma anche la tv sembra del '500. Il titolare è una persona assolutamente squisita e cortesissima, sempre premuroso e presente per qualsiasi bisogno. La colazione invece sarebbe consigliabile consumarla ad uno dei tanti bar nei dintorni.....

This B&B was pleasant, clean, and in a good location, once I found it! As a solo traveler, I found it quite safe, too. The proprietor was very nice. Breakfast was in a cafe around the corner: coffee and pastry. I was happy to support a local enterprise, but next time I think I'll explore other options in Orvieto. Beware: He only accepts cash, so don't expect to pay with a credit card. I knew this in advance, due to the other reviews. It's no big deal, as long as you are prepared.

Who took the pictures of this B&B? I just did not recognize it on arrival. The owner mistook our reservation for 2 rooms in the same name and there was only one room when we arrived - even though I had two confirmation emails. The owner was helpful in finding us another B&B that was actually priced 5€ less and was far superior - at 21 Piazza del Popolo. The one room that he showed us was clean but dowdy by any standards - this was just a dreary little space that we found totally unappealing -- and we sometimes stay in Hostels -- so I do not think we are all that picky.

This is a small BandB run by a friendly gentleman, in his home, which is old and wonderful. The room was clean and worth the location and the price. He was very helpful. The bill needs to be paid for in cash, they do not take credit cards.

Hotel was great - more like a room in a nice home. Breakfast was supposed to be served but owner, who is a doctor, was called away on an emergency so he gave us a coupon for breakfast at a restaurant. Coupon was only good for a crosant and orange juice.

the host was helpful, the place and the room were charming, very comfortable and clean, the hotel is well located in the old town, not too far from the cathedral on foot. only problem: the hotel host did not accept payment by credit card but wanted cash, which is odd since we reserved with a credit card on expedia. otherwise great,
