La Posada del Mar Hotel

Lovely conversion of historic building close to shops and restaurants with lovely views over harbour and marina.

Hotel is fantastic - in great location so easy walk in to main part of Denia. Staff extremely helpful. Couple of things to note - the tapas restaurant has closed and they are looking to put new restaurant in for summer but nothing currently although they do have room service agreement with nearby restaurant. There is also no bar which we would have liked just for once last night cap before bed. Finally hotel is on very busy road so there is a lot of road noise all night - just something to be aware of if you have light sleepers like we did in our group - there is air con in rooms but some of our group preferred fresh air and then couldn’t sleep!

A very comfortable stay

We stayed here in late February so very much off season and therefore. The town was super quiet but plenty of restaurants and bars open. Everything is in walking distance. We were only due to stay for 2 nights then move on but as my husband managed to crack his ribs ( and therefore couldn't move!) we had to extend our stay and ended up staying for 5 nights altogether. The staff were very helpful and despite being 'stuck' for longer than intended it really worked out better than it could have! I understand during peak season the hotel is very much in demand. Lovely place, lovely people.

Great hotel. Excellent room with lovely view of all the boats & the sea. Booked a junior suite which was worth the extra money. Lively breakfast with an excellent choice. Staff very helpful & nothing too much trouble.

Loved our 1 night stay at this charming hotel. We had a junior suite with a terrace,with a view of the harbor.

The hotel is ideal location near harbour and amenities. Interior is stylish and boutique chic Staff are so welcoming and helpful making you feel at ease Rooms are tastefully decorated and have everything you need

Incredible and amazing hotel with parts dating back some 700 years. Old fossils displayed in reception, It's now fully modernised and comfortable, it's right next to a marina, beaches, modern and historic bars, shops and restaurants. It has its own restaurant next door with the most amazing storage room, displaying a vast wine collection. You will not be disappointed by this hotel, it's next to all the facilities you could want, yet at night was quiet and cool, although very hot outside. We had a buffet breakfast, which kept me going all day. Shall certainly go again.

We had no A/C any of the 6 nights we were there. They told us everyday they would take care of it. Miserable!!!!
