Irene Pension I

Great communication with staff so they could pick us up from the port. Upon arrival Irene gave us an ice cream to cool us down in the heat which was so sweet. Staff are friendly and helpful all round. Dropped us back the port at the end of our stay too. The room was huge and had everything we needed (a/c, fridge, kitchenette, hair dryer), although the Internet didn't work in our room, we had to walk up to Irene Pension 1 to get access. Rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels and linens are provided. Location is excellent, no more than a 10 minute walk to the waterfront, closer to the town square.

The accommodation was simple but clean. Staff were friendly and we were picked up from the port. Staff have lots of tips about places to visit and restaurants to try - and the ice lolly when we arrived was just the nicest touch!

Good location and it comes with a small kitchen. Transfer from/ to the port is included in the price

It is a value hotel, they will clean everyday, they pick you at port. We can walk to Golden beach or shopping or view the big stone door within 10 minutes. The shower is small. We will stay this hotel when we come to Naxco.

This has to be the best value accommodation we have stayed in.Owner could not have been more helpful.We loved our room with its ensuite ,little kitchen and lovely deck. Within easy walking distance to town and the beach.

I really enjoyed my stay at Irene Pension 1. We were collected and dropped off at the port. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was close to the beach and the centre of the town. There was a hottub which really added to our stay. If I return to Naxos, I would love to stay here and will be recommending it to my friends.

Once we found it, we really enjoyed our stay. Just so you know, google maps and hotels.com do not have an accurate location as of right now. But, if you decide to stay here check your junk email. The man running the building, son of Irene herself, sends you an email offering to pick you up. Just email him back to let him know when you will be arriving and it will be much easier for you than it was for us since we didn't think to check the junk email. While there we enjoyed the homemade treats baked by Irene and the nicely equipped kitchenette which made our stay even more affordable. Plus it is close to the bus stop, grocery stores and less than a 10 min walk to Old Town. Very comfortable and affordable, and extremely accommodating. If there is something you need, chances are the need will be met. If we ever get the chance to come back to Naxos we will definitely stay here again.

Family run hotel. Staff were very helpful and provided any assistance asked of them. Hotel will pick up an return to the ferry.

The place is fine and quite central, this means space is limited as all land in the centre is precious. But it means that most of the main attractions are within 5-10 minutes walk. Rooms are fine, don't bring kids. Nice to be able to use the pool at Irene 2 (5-7 mins walk) as is hot in town on occasion.

This is a modern, small hotel close to the town and St George's beach. It is not on the main road so i'ts quiet at night. Rooms are cleaned daily, air conditioned and have plenty of storage spavce with a safe and fridge & cooker. The en suite shower room is clean and always had hot water, The swimming pool is safe and modern with an ample number of loungers and chairs. The owners are delightful, and Irene always has cake and juice for guests (take them something from your country!) Let them know when you are arriving & Stavros will collect you & your luggage at the port free of charge (and take you back when you leave).
