Grand Meteora Hotel

Nice view and quirt place. One think that i didnt like is to pay extra for the swimmIng pool.

Our family loved this hotel. The facilities were VERY clean and well maintained. My husband used the gym and complimented how specious and well equipped it was. I took advantage of their reasonably priced spa services. Their spa facilities were very nice inviting and the massage was well worth it!. Their staff went out of their way to accommodate every request. Their buffet breakfast was amazing. All of this was complimented by the breathtaking views of Metéora from our hotel room. We liked that the hotel was slightly removed from the center of town so we could enjoy feeling secluded.

The hotel is beautiful and it's location is great. The lady at the front desk was horrible' seems like she hates the world. We arrived in the morning and left our luggage at the lobby. The stuff at the front desk promised me to put the luggage in the room when it will be possible. When we came back the horrible lady was there. We told her that we need to do check in and that the luggage is probably already in the room. "So ' you do have a key! so what do you want from me?" she yelled at me. Than my husband wanted to order a massage. She told him she did not have the time to answer him and ask him to talk to her later. Later he tried to call the reception but there was no answer... she ruined our stay there.

Wireless is very spotty. Property is nice and stepping out will give a good view of Meteora.

Gorgeous view from the balcony. The hotel is not very accessible if you don’t have your own transport. You can get a taxi but it costs €5 each trip. A free shuttle bus to the town would have been nice.

We got a twin bed instead of double, the corridors and elevators were cold. The room was OK but the bathroom had a misplaced shower head that lead to the water being all over the floor after shower. Also the conditioner was half full. Last the room are not noise proof which means you could hear anyone going over the corridors. Last
