Breakfast and location were great and we also really enjoyed the pools and jets and the aqua exercise class

I was disappointed in the spa facilities - not the pools but we booked treatments - the grotto hamam place was quite expensive and was a big disappointment as they only turned it on when we arrived and it was nowhere near hot enough and looked quite old and grotty. I did not enjoy it at all - it was a complete waste of money. I also booked a facial which was brilliant and I enjoyed it a lot and a massage which was again complete rubbish - a guy who just did fast rubbing up and down with his hands non stop - this is not what I call a massage. Normally I really enjoy massage and for this one, I got fed up and wanted it to end. I did not complain but I would not have treatments there again apart from facials as the lady who did the facial was excellent and I am sure would have done a much better massage too.

The location is excellent, situated right next to the sea and close to the hot springs. The pool area and overall appearance of the property are very impressive. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety of options available.

Unfortunately, the level of service did not match the standard of the property. While travelling with my elderly mother, we found it difficult to manage our luggage on the entrance stairs and would have appreciated some assistance from staff. In addition, our room was quite cold due to a heater that did not appear to be functioning properly. The shower was fixed at the wrong angle. Our water and teas were not replenished each day. Given the hotel’s five-star rating and pricing, we had expected a higher level of attentiveness and support. Overpriced for the level of service we received.
