Pensión La Giraldilla

OK for one person for one night. It fulfilled a need. Staff were very helpful.

The staff were friendly enough but the problem lay with the room. There was no proper connecting door between the main bedroom and the bathroom which was inconvenient to say the least. The room was also small. Outside, the little street was incredibly noisy until late at night. But the worse was yet to come .. despite the fact that we were on the first floor a small time thief climbed up and got into our room whilst we were asleep and stole my watch (not too expensive) He tried again the next night but I chased him off. The owner said he was going to rectify the problem with a grill and a CCTV camera. I was disappointed that the owner did not offer me much in the way of concern or compensation. We could have been murdered in our sleep!!

Room on the 3rd floor, no lift. Reception staff(Ihab) kindly took our luggage upstairs. Shower stall was very small.

Very basic accommodation but spotlessly clean. Sheets not really big enough for the bed, and decor rather homespun! Not somewhere that you would want to spend much time other than to sleep. We had the room on the ground floor next to reception, so a bit noisy. Main dislike was need to keep shutters closed at all times because totally overlooked from pavement right outside. Good position in Seville but not particularly relaxing to stay at. Used to camping and festivals so didn’t expect luxury.

Small and humid room, rude staff, dirty, cold, extra money for heating.

A very convenient location, easy to find, very clean, quiet, comfortable, nicely arranged room which allowed for a good, undisturbed relax. Also, very professional and polite staff at the reception. I definitely recommend it!

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Everytime I had a favor to ask them such as printing of a document or finding a location, they were always eager to please and very polite. Our rooms look exactly like the pictures. It was very clean and it's certainly good value for money. The location is very central for tourists and it makes it dead easy to access all the famous viewpoints right at the doorstep.

Room was very small with no wardrobe, drawers, table, chair or bin. Bedding eg sheets and pillowcases clean but the blankets had hair on them.The pillows were not clean and had an unpleasant odour. The smell of stale smoke on entering the room was bad. The bathroom was clean and towels were replaced daily. The kitchen downstairs had a kettle and fridge but very unclean as guests were meant to clean after themselves. We bought clean sponges to wash the cups. The little dining area was not inviting as dark and charmless. This Pension is only suitable for a one to two night stay max. We were there a week and had no comfort. Stayed out until time for bed!

Great price, location and condition of the hotel. The bathroom was inordinately small and difficult to take a shower without getting water all over. This should be corrected. Also it should be pointed out that the room is on the fourth floor. As someone almost seventy with heavy bags, this was most impossible. The staff was more than available and helpful. The small kitchen was handy to have.

Very very unclean and the shower curtain was handing by a nail . All tiles cracked in room and the bathroom was dirty . Very bad no way would I stay again
