We had booked a twin room and got a double
USGreat location inside walled village, loved the pool and sun deck. Beautiful lobby and room decor. Fantastic and varied breakfast. Attentive and helpful staff. Room quite small but ok for two. Nice bathroom.
Ground floor room windows open directly onto the busy sidewalk where the passing crowds can see inside and even enter the room! Very expensive but there are not many alternate choices in this small but heavily touristed village.

The bathroom was “compact”. The shower was tiny - you hit your elbows on the sides whilst washing your hair and you hit the shower with your knees when sitting on the toilet. Minor things - it’s nice to have music at breakfast but I think the hotel can afford an ad-free streaming service and to play music from a speaker instead of a mobile phone. - No wifi in the rooms.

USGiovanni and Lorenzo were incredibly helpful and kind to us. They helped us find a bus route, luggage transfer, and provided umbrellas. It is a gorgeous historical hotel. We'll worth the price.
