When our taxi that was reserved the previous night didn’t come after 2 reminder calls, the young gentleman at the desk drive us to the train station.

We were able to walk everywhere which is what we like. While we didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, the very nice person at the front desk allowed us to have a cup of coffee which was all that we wanted in the lovely breakfast room. We enjoyed chatting with other guests. Had a good rest on comfortable beds, albeit a bit noisy as we were on the street side of the hotel. The staff were excellent and we would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel. Close to restaurants and the walled city in Carcassone. Best shower ever. Small room but clean.

This was a nice hotel in a very good area. The only thing that really lets this hotel down is the staff at reception (unhappy bunch) - not forthcoming at all, not informative re. area (no map offered, had to ask) - really got the feeling "not to ask anything". Could do with kettle in room as the coffee machine in the foyer only dispenses espresso (tiny cups) at one euro. A bit soulless.

This is a great budget hotel about a 5 minute walk from the old Cité walls and all the sights, restaurants and shops. It is about a 30 minute walk into the lower town. We got a lovely room with a patio door opening on to the swimming pool and patio area with sun loungers. The room was nicely furnished with a double bed and small hanging space for clothes. The bathroom was very clean and the room was serviced daily. Reception staff, with one exception, were friendly and helpful. We arrived early before our room was ready and the girl on reception was very helpful - we were able to get what we needed out of our suitcases and she said they would keep the cases until we got back. When we returned, the staff had changed and the we asked the lady on reception where our luggage was, she had no idea and was totally uninterested in finding out. We eventually found it ourselves tucked between two tables in the breakfast room! We only had breakfast in the hotel on our last day and thought it very pricey. There are quite a few restaurants in the old town that do breakfast and we ate there - much cheaper and more interesting. The shuttle bus from the airport drops you off /picks you up in front of the Pont Levis Hotel at the top of the hill in front of the Cité and it is about 50 metres from there to the Aragon. The only negative I have is that we would have liked a safe in the room.

The location of this hotel was superb. The hotel room was small. The bathroom seemed newish and was a decent size but the carpet in the bedroom had stains on it which was very off putting when walking into the room. On arrival and that evening the receptionist was constantly on the phone. The next morning the staff were much more attentive and friendly. We were told to leave our key when we went out. We returned at 10pm - there was no one on reception so we helped ourselves - we could have taken any key. However overall for the location etc I felt the price we paid was ok.

We had an enjoyable 4 night stay here. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. There was a good choice of food at breakfast and the staff were helpful in answering queries. Would definitely stay here again!

just a few yards from medieval city. delightfully decorated rooms, roomy bathroom, with natural daylight and windows that open! Bonus of swimming pool. Staff helpful and allowed me to try out my poor French. Airport bus stop around the corner, 6 euro fare, very helpful drivers. 17 euros taxi fare. Plenty of restaurants inside city walls.

Beautiful hotel by the rear entrance to the citadel. The place is classic and superbly designed. The rooms were salacious and comfortable and ours had a view of the castle. The staff was friendly and helpful and the entire stay felt more like a bed and breakfast than a chain hotel. It was SUPER CLEAN and I will happily return next time.
