Fantastic location

The hotel was minutes from the main gate to Carcassonne with free parking. The village and chateau were amazing.

Airport shuttle bus (€5) passed the door of our hotel and dropped us off at the turnaround point (main gate of the old city). Could not have been better placed, literally 5 mins from the main gate, object of our trip! Would have done more but weather beat us. Walked into main town so not too far either. You pay extra for breakfast, but had a reasonable choice of food (continental buffet - cereals, fruits, breads, eggs cheese ham etc). Local restaurants (in old city) nice but nowhere seems big on veggies!!! Local wines and beer good.

Great place to stay nothing special. Cannot get much closer to old city . Room too hot and no A/C in october

Fantastic location for Carcassonne Castle.

My teenage daughters and I stayed one night here and would happily return next time we are in Carcassonne. The room was comfortable (despite a temperamental, but functioning, air conditioner) and clean. There was parking and the hotel can not be more than 100 steps to the enterence to the walled city. We were able to leave our car in the parking lot after check out and spend the day exploring the midevil fortress. At night we could see the illuminated walls of the city right out our window. While we did not use the pool, there seemed to be lots of happy people there. the desk staff was very patient with our limitted french and almost everyone could communicate in english.

Good pool, but small rooms. Good breakfast, handy for old city. Prompt service on air conditioning.
