Villa Mediterana

Amazing apartment just in front of the sea in a calmed and beautiful location.

The breakfasts were super, with a good choice of fruit, meats, cheese, bread and eggs cooked to order. The location was perfect for us - virtually on the beach, which had sunbeds and parasols. We had one evening meal at the hotel as it was my birthday and a treat from our daughter. Needless to say it was delicious! The staff are super, with a good command of English and very helpful.

The tree by our balcony obscured the view of the sea a little, but didn't really bother us as we were pleased to have a balcony. I couldn't find anywhere saying that there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room, so took my travel kettle - which was not needed!

Good base if you don't want to be in a busy town. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful.

Shower in our room was difficult to use.

Great! Wonderful! Absolutely the best! The staff is THE BEST EVER. The owner is great and the people working in the restaurant are extremaly nice, pleasant and helpful. (People from Croatia are known for being friendly, but people at Villa Mediterana are way above the top!). The hotel is located just two steps from the beach - GREAT! The parking is big enough - GREAT! The restaurant is nice with the very tasty food! - GREAT! The price (out of the season) was reasonable - GREAT! I have reviewed more than 100 different hotels on booking.com and that is simply the #1 of all. For us it is 10/10.

We were staying in the apratment for 5 (2 adults + 3 kids), so we had to walk the stairs to the second floor as there is no elevator. That is really a very, very small issue, which should not bother anybody with working legs.
