Ringhotel Haus Oberwinter

The swimming pool, the special electric bed and special provision of an ice pack for an injury received while riding my bike. The safe bike storage, the lovely views. The meals both in the evening and for breakfast.

The signs were confusing at the bottom of the hill.

Very good breakfast

Interior dated. Wifi/Internet very weak and inconsistent. Restaurant provided very limited and expensive choices for dinner. No aircon or fans though temperature was 37C. No English or French spoken at check-in and in restaurant but was OK at checkout .

all round a great located, reasonable hotel with great staff. Jana from the restaurant staff helped me a great deal to order food etc (as my German is very limited!) Jana is a great asset to you, please pass on my thanks. Would like to visit the hotel again for more than one night, and do some of the motorbike routes. Wonderful riding in this region.

It would have been great to have a kettle in the room

Staff were excellent, very helpful when ordering taxi or requesting information, our room was spacious, my wife and I enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel, and we loved the view over the Rhine river
