Hotel liegt ca 25km vom Flughafen entfernt am Ende eines kleinen, unattraktiven Dorfs am Meer - ca. 35km vom Zentrum Algiers entfernt. Was man am Hotelpreis spart, gibt man für Taxis aus - wenn man das Zentrum besuchen möchte. Personal ist freundlich und Hausmacherkost wird frisch zubereitet. Zimmer sind rustikal eingerichtet (mit AirCon und TV) - jedoch hygienische Aspekte - Schimmel im Bad - sind unerfreulich.

My daughter and I were looking for a comfortable, quiet and scenic place to stay not too far from the city of Algiers and found this wonderful hotel where we were given a huge apartment, each with our own bedroom and bathroom, together with a comfortable lounge with English movie channels on its TV, a covered balcony area in which to dine, and a kitchen too - although we didn't use the latter as the meals we had at this hotel were very good and reasonably priced. Our hosts were welcoming, gracious and took very good care of us - collecting and returning us to the airport, and two amazing all-day trips into Algiers where, with our kindly guide and driver, we visited some wonderful museums, galleries, and wandered around the Kasbah. We were particularly grateful to our driver for organizing a visit to the Musee Nationale des Arts et Traditions Populaires where he had arranged for an English speaking historian to give us a tour and history of this very beautiful house and its location. Some reviewers have said that they wished the hotel was nearer to Algiers itself, but we really enjoyed the travel in to the city as it gave us a chance to see the countryside, villages, roadside stalls and so forth. We thoroughly recommend Dar-Tlidjene and send our grateful thanks to Miriam, Mohamed Senior, and Mohamed the Younger for making this a very special holiday.

I found the hotel quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff were very nice, and the food was lovely.

Booked this hotel on basis of paying at hotel on departure however hotel took full payment upon booking and left me too short to then subsequently book flights. Tried to cancel but nobody at Expedia could help and nobody from the hotel was responding, nor even answering their phones, in 4 weeks. Awful, I'd avoid, seems dodgy!

Located in Ain Taya, Algiers.We booked for one night and have chosen the top roof suite which was amazing! Very clean, quiet and cozy, we were offered a plate of fruits and Algerian dates. Hot water works, clean towels and AC. You can look at the sea from the roof, we have eaten dinner at the hotel restaurant, they offer Thai food which is very exotic to find in Algeria! It was well made and presented and the taste was good! They offer free breakfast too. There is a number of nearby coffee shops and grocery stores and small fast food restaurants.
