There Wasn’t anything my family and I didn’t like about the property it was perfect

The rooms need some TLC. Some renovations are really needed.

Rooms are ok. beach is nice.

Staff weren’t friendly or helpful at all! Quite disappointing really. Didn’t even collect our bags for checkout and we were the last room furthest away at the resort. Couldn’t even bring a cocktail to the pool. When we checked in we weren’t even greeted the lady just handed a piece of paper and pen to my partner to put down credit card details. Disappointing when you have just gotten off a plane then a 1.5 hour car ride to get there from airport to not even be greeted. Food was also very average, for the price of the food I would have expected something better.

Breakfast was wonderful.. Ms Arieta stood out for us!

We enjoyed our stay. The purpose was to rest and relax and it is perfect for a low-key cabin-style holiday (no TV, no internet in room). The facilities, bathrooms and pool is very tired and we had power outages in our cabins a couple of times. The daily activities around the resort are fun if you want to get involved. The highlights were the friendly service, the big breakfast selection and the beautiful beach setting and surrounds, which is quiet and peaceful (not a busy resort like many others). Luncha dn dinner food is basic family fare.

The Indian food by Chef Vickram Singh at the Hideaway Resort was simply outstanding during our 4 day trip to Fiji over the NYE 2025/26 holidays. The Indian food menu had a variety of delectable dishes, cooked to perfection, with fresh ingredients and a touch of spices that Vickram created with pride and passion. Vickram went out of his way to make exotic Vegetarian dishes too that elevated our dining experiences.

The location was great. The beach and sea were pristine.

There was constant smell of sewer from the bathroom. No wifi in the hotel rooms was very inconvenient. The staff seemed very forced in their friendliness and lacked knowledge. I met a village lady at the bus stand and she was friendlier and more helpful than all the staff. I guess personalities matter.
