Medplaya Hotel Bali

Restaurant had tasty food, usually lots of options to choose from, little bit less for kids but they are allways ok with pizza or french fries, we really enyoed terrace which have calm and peacfull atmosphere. Pools are also very well maintained and our kids enoyed all of them.

The room door is a flush door, and there is a relatively large gap between the door and the hallway. One night, we couldn't sleep because some drunk people got lost and shouted on the stairs for an hour. It is a big, well-equipped hotel, but the rooms and restrooms in Pavilion 2 could use some renovation. On one side of the pool, there was a bad smell. I expected that they would clean it in the evening, but it remained really smelly for at least three days. However, it was not a big issue because we always found a free umbrella on the other side.

Os miúdos adoraram

Dos colchões, acordei todos os dias super aflita das costas. Não temos muita alternativa de estacionar o carro perto do hotel, temos que pagar estacionamento.

In General We've stayed here for seven days and enjoyed it very much. The online pictures of the Hotel match the reality. Hence: no (negative) surprises. The Hotel is very family friendly, which is a factor to consider, when you are travelling without kids. Especially in the breakfast room it can get louder. In the rooms it wasn't a factor for us, since the sound insulation of the building was good. Also the pool area is separated into two areas, with two pools, where one area includes a pool area for kids and the other does not. The hotel staff does make an extraordinary effort to provide entertainment. There is a stage on which every evening is a different program (music, quiz, magic shows). Restaurant The breakfast provides a large selection of food. We never ate lunch or dinner in the Hotel Restaurant,  that's why I can't say anything about it.  Staff The employees were all very friendly and the service was always superb. Location and surrounding area The Hotel is in close proximity to the beach (few minutes walk). There are a lot of small supermarkets next to the Hotel and of course also Bars and Restaurants found all around the area. The public transportation system (bus) works great and trips to other cities (like Malaga) are uncomplicated and very cheap. Summary We had a wonderful time and will come back.
