New Flying Horse

The hotel was really lovely. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and the room was absolutely lovely. My pillow was a bit hard but it was too late in the night to let anyone know so I used cushions. We had a really relaxed night which was just what we needed.

From the moment of arriving in the free carpark we could not fault the New Flying Horse. The lady at the bar was very friendly sorry didnt get her name, blonde curly hair. We were staying for a wedding in Wye and very kindly they allowed us and got our room ready for a very early check in at 11am... Joe then came to us to tell us our room was ready and we had coffee in the garden. My husband and I stayed for the night but Joe told my mum she could also stay as we had bunks, she didnt however she stayed at a relatives, but how kind. We had 2 dogs with us and Joe brought them treats, he also left his mobile number with us incase we needed him to let them out for us, again very kind but we did it ourselves. The room was lovely, comfortable, clean and very nice. big room with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, my husband had the full Wye and I had the Michelin breakfast, delicious. Again staff were fantastic. The only downside to this place was that we were unable to stay longer, so another visit is definitely on the list. We will certainly return. Thank you for making our stay great.

Relaxing stay, delicious food, great garden

Very comfortable stay - plenty of parking, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room (with dogs), really good food - dinner and breakfast, even dog breakfast provided! We really enjoyed the New Flying Horse and will be back there as soon as we can.

Friendly staff, all adhering to covid guidelines. Fabulous breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and whilst we declined having the rooms cleaned every day there were procedures in place if you wished your room to be cleaned. If you wanted anything you just had to ask. Tea making facilities in the room and no UHT milk! Fresh supplied in bottles on request, complete with insulation jacket. Plenty of free parking and positioned within walking distance of other pubs and restaurants. Felt safe and welcome.

Kind staff, great food. A great place to stop on the North Downs Way hike.

nice and quiet hotel with well appointed rooms and good breakfast
