Americas Best Value Inn Starke

The room was ok. We were given a room key and when we opened the door, the room was not cleaned. At 12:28 am we were awakened by people yelling and arguing right outside our door. Also, had no wash cloths, nor coffee. No access to the lobby.

They gave the room I paid for to someone else, I paid a lot more for the king bedroom and jetted tub to end up with a regular because it was "the last one" they had available...terrible service.

The floors where very dirty.

Needs some updates but a nice clean place to spend the night. New fluffy towels would make it nicer

The parking availability was very limited. I understand there isn't much space in order to accommodate more parking, but what was available was very limited. Plus, if all of the patrons would park in the parking spaces provided and not take up 2 spaces, it would be better as well. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

When arrived bad area, room was dirty,non smoking ‘em with cigarette burns on top spread, blanket large burn, blood on sheets&blue stains, bathroom dirty, fixtures corroded, floor dirty, lg dead bug behind toilet and room smelled like bug spray, no ice, no coffee, no phone fridge had pvc pipe as rails. Surprised on your list of places to stay.got clean sheets and I had to chance. No other places to stay close. Bad bad experience

We have stayed at this same America’s Best Value Inn in the past, but it has been a few years ago. Boy, has it gone downhill!! Bathtub was full of hair as were the sheets on the bed. Had to clean the tub and I spent about 15 minutes picking all of the hair out of the bed. Sheets appeared to be clean so I’m going with the hair belonged to someone in housekeeping staff. There were holes in the blankets. Comforters could stand a washing. Got two washcloths and one was stained like it had been used for cleaning. I had my own washcloths that I had just bought to take home with me because I got a deal and I got those out of the car and used them. This hotel was cheaper than the other hotels in the area and my expectations weren’t high to begin with, but I was very disappointed with this hotel. There WAS a nice desk, a refrigerator without a freezer and a microwave. Water was hot and plentiful. Nice flat-screen TV with a variety of channels. Wifi wasn’t good. All rooms are on the ground floor so that was a plus. We were only here for two nights to visit with family so we stuck it out, but we won’t stay here again.

The room was clean, area was quiet. Great location for what we needed. Absolutely no water pressure for the shower. And the latch/lock didn't work on the room door. Felt a little unsafe, and the wind blew it open twice.
