Hampton Inn Rochester-Webster

We've stayed here multiple times over the years. This time around it was evident that refurbishing is overdue. Apparently they are fixing things one thing at a time. The first room we were given had a broken closet door - it came right off the hinges. The second had an older model AC unit that rattled. The third room had a broken desk chair - which they replaced. We'll likely stay at the Holiday Inn Express on Holt Road the next time.

Bed was clean and comfy. Staff at the front desk was helpful and pleasant.

Bathroom was simply dilapidated and moldy! LOTS of chaulk to cover mold and "hold" the shower together, probably from leaking. Peeling wallpaper.

The room was clean, which was good

The breakfast could have been better. The sausages were really dry. The hotel and room were fine but I have definitely stayed in better for cheaper.

The beds could have been cleaner and the room had a weird smell

I work for a virginia electric utility and was in webster for family reunion. I told the desk when i checked in that due to the hurricane i may have to leave early when i went to check out to head back to virginia the lady at the desk wanted to argue about my checking out early i told her i had togo regardless. That is not my complaint. Iturn away from the desk and she then started to run her mouth about how i used expedia to some man standing near the desk and why i didn t call the hotel for a reservation facing a 10 hour drive i let it go

Food was good. The room was quiet and clean.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. The pillows were awful. Way too flat. Might be time to replace them or at least have offer one firmer pillow on each bed. The was not enough seating for breakfast.

This hotel is conveniently located off the 104 in Webster. The rooms are clean, but a little outdated. It did not bother us, but may not be to some people’s liking. The breakfast was good and had the normal offerings: eggs, cereal, toast, small pastries. The staff were really friendly and efficient. We would stay here again.
